A:  All Veranda PVC trim board can be used in a variety of exterior trim applications. Typically our 4” (3.5” actual) and 6” (5.5” actual) trim board is used as window trim but that’s not to say you can’t use something narrower. Veranda PVC can be ripped down with a table saw. One of the benefits of Veranda PVC is our superior “sealed edge” that resists dirt. When you rip a trim board you expose the core which is much more susceptible to picking up dirt.

A:  I've used it like wood, very easy to work with. Good for use with a router

A:  This is solid and cuts neatly. The pieces are very uniform, so if needed, could be pieced together. Better if you could get it in the lengths you need, though. Check with website or Home Depot. They may be able to special order other lengths that they don't ordinarily stock.

A:  This unit is solid. It is not available in 12ft lengths but it can be cut.

A:  The PVC Trim would be suitable for a trellis. The product itself is not structural so the design would dictate the need for a support or attachment to a solid surface. .
