Q:Says to put filtered water in tank. No regular water?

A:  We appreciate your inquiry. You may use regular tap water. However, we would recommend to ensure to clean the unit in accordance to the owner's manual if your water contains a high amount of minerals.     A:  You take the top part off and flip it upside down to fill it. So it fills basically under the VICKS logo.
