Also, it needs to be apart from each post or connection point of the same dimension of the shade sail. The post and hardware are Not included. One can obtain the Hardware at a local hardware store. A:  They do fine in the wind as long as they're properly secured. I use mine more during the summer for the great shade they provide then take them down in the winter.
