A:  I scaled off of the picture and estimate that the center hole diameter is 3-1/2 inches diameter. It is so unfortunate that HDs computerized size tables seldom give you the crucial, actual, sizes--except in the case of lumber... I IMAGINE that a sharp construction knife will cut through easily. My next question is how thick is it?
