A:  Just eyeballing it, it looks like it can hold an 18 - 20 inch wide undermount sink. The 22 inch deep cabinet can hold an 18 inch deep basin.

A:  I can only guess that it's a hardwood but I don't know what species. Every inch is painted but it is heavy and very sturdy. Sanding it down to stain would be risky because it could be several different types of hardwood, and a ton of work!
