    Q:Does the back splash need to be installed as well or can you install without the back splash? I'm wondering if it will show a gap or have an unfinished edge if the back splash is negated.

    A:  Hello, the backsplash is a separate piece from the counter top, so you do not have to install it if you prefer.

      A:  The back splash is a separate piece, so you could install the sink without it. The top extends past the base so you would not have a gap (assuming the wall you are installing it against is level) or unfinished edge.
