A:  Thank you for your question. Westinghouse Lighting does not offer or carry additional chain for this chandelier. The overall maximum hanging distance from the ceiling to the bottom of the chandelier is 58.75 inches.

A:  No. We chose a different bulb. One that has a warmer feel at lower light levels.

A:  No, bulbs were not included.

A:  No, the lightbulbs are not included with the light fixture.

A:  The Oak Lane 5 light Barnwood fixture does not come with included light bulbs. The bulbs shown in the image are the Westinghouse Vintage ST20- item 0413200, or you can also use an energy-efficient filament LED such as 3518300. This uses (5) medium (E26) base, 60 watt maximum light bulbs.

A:  You could shorten it to a total of about 23" on a flat ceiling if you removed all the links.

A:  Without the chains that come with it the overall hang down is about 16 inches

A:  This chandelier can be shortened to hang approximately 24 inches from the top of the ceiling to the bottom of the fixture. You need to remove links from the chain in or to shorten it.

A:  This light fixture is quite long, if you have standard 9 foot ceilings, I would only hang it above places where people do not walk, like over a counter. If you want to walk underneath the fixture, I would recommend having a taller ceiling of at least 12 feet.

A:  Yes but the bulbs need to be dimmable.

A:  if you have a dimmer built in your switch it would be dimmable

A:  This fixture is dimmable. The type of dimmable light bulbs (incandescent, LED or CFL) will need to be compatible with the dimmer being used. This uses (5) medium (E26) base lamps, 60 watt maximum each.
