Q:Can this cord be used on a fairly large air purifier which runs most of the time? I run it now on just a regular two prong plug. Just needed a little more length so I could move the purifier around a little better.

A: If the purifier has a 3 prong plug then you need to use a 3 prong for proper electrical connection. If not, and you only need a 3 ft plug then this will work nicely.

A: The plug is a 2 prong as is the (3) outlets. So you would not be able to use a three prong plug.
