              A:  I have the same issue. It won't pick up motion on my steps or porch until someone opens my storm door. Ugh. I'm considering having a metal fabrication shop cut, extend and weld an extra piece so that it sits lower and the motion detector isn't blocked. More than I wanted to deal with, but I like it.....

                A:  DoorCam cannot be adjusted down. It can sometimes fit between the gap, but the storm door might intervene with the motion sensor.

                  A:  Motion recordings are stored on Cloud. All DoorCams come with 1-month free Cloud! Afterwards, it's $3/month or $30/year.
