Pretty much every board in the rack was split and/or warped.

Best Douglas fir I have ever used, you do have to pick through the lumber pile to get the best of what’s available. Better than most commercial lumber yards, plus it’s dry, inside.

Deep cracks down the length of board. Caused cuts pieces to split deeming them unusable.

Home Depots Lumber is some of the most crooked lumber that you can buy. You have to pick thru the pile and pull 20 boards in order to find one good straight one. They need to fix this problem.

good quality lumber

Wanted to purchase more 12 ft length. But the quality wasn't par so purchased 10 footers. Ended up costing more using the 10 footers because of dimensional requirements.

Lots of tearout when planing and routing.

Wood was wet and heavy bowed, warped and cracked after it started to dry.

I got a splinter.

HD needs to change vendors for their lumber. Few boards had a straight edge. Many had planer marks more than 1/8" deep. Some were twisted and others bowed.

We used the boards (cut in half) to re-furbish a picnic table for our moose lodge. So far, so good! The table and, therefore the boards are now in the elements. Looks good, works well, we'll see how they weather and hold up. More tables to re-do soon!

The board is relatively free of defects.

Boards were for a shadow box. Good quality, no warping, well cut.

Exactly what I needed to temporarily shore up my deck, replacing old rotten lumber.

I went through many boards on the rack. Found one that looked really good. Using as (3) 4' shelves. After 1 week the board had cupped from side to side. Warped really bad. This was a piece of crap.

The holes were easy to make

nice boards for a while but split something terrible after a little while outside.

Typical modern lumber harvested with new growth trees. Reasonable straight, but very high moisture content. Do not leave in direct sunlight or be prepared to cutoff splitting ends due to excessive dry rate.

Excellent - we bought 7 2"x10"x12' to build a staircase. All boards were without splits, knots and warpage.

Wood was great

nominal size 9 1/8 differs from most other standard 2 X10 material 9 1/2, making it a problem when using with and from other sources of 2 X 10 boards. Home Depot should do a better job with standards

Good material for garden raised bed.
