Had to go through about 50 pcs to get one where I could get 2 pieces 30" long, that weren't either split or weak. Might be OK for construction, but Douglas Fir boards are very wet, so buying one for other than construction needs to be used right away or it will warp

Ends had splits 14 inches in had to go through pile to find that lumber is not quality grade

Limited stock, most boards split on each end, and bowed... was not impressed.

EVERY TIME I GO GET SOME 2 X 12 X 10', I GOTTA DIG AND DIG THROUGH THE STACK TO FIND SOMETHING USABLE. GETS TIRESOME AND MAKES ME WONDER IF THERES BETTER STOCK ELSEWHERE.

It’s sad that a person has to look through a whole unit to find 8 decent boards that aren’t split and have more than 3 square corners

Wood split before I got it home

It's a 2x12 not sure what there is to say. It's wood. It was straight.

Not to bad.

Was able to finish my ramps and seems sturdy

material was of a good grade for #2 douglas fir

I do not dislike the product. I feel that unless I give a rave review of the product my opinion is not important. In this case, wood is wood.

It was from Hampton Lumber so no Weyerhaeuser didn’t meet my specs. But Hampton did

Straight and almost knot free. Let’s see if it stays that way.

The 2x12 was usable but had a nasty twist to it.

All three boards cracked in the middle overnight and are now totally useless for stair runners This was after checking 2 banded stacks to find 3 what I thought were going to be usable boards..

If you need a 10 ft board, you will have to purchase a 12 ft or bigger to be able to cut off the split ends and end up with what you wanted in the first place. Looking at most of the inventory in the store, splits in the ends of the boards was more the norm and not the exception.

Heavy board Exactly what I needed.

Had cracks, but used it anyway for stair stringer. Had to return others due to cracks and rough surface.
