About half of the studs were straight and true. The other half were awkwardly bowed.

Out of the 150 2x4’s that we ordered. 29 of them were warped and twisted so terribly that they were unusable. I had to load all of them up and take them back which was unacceptable. That’s 20% of the order as an unusable product.

It’s like anywhere else, you have to know what you’re looking for according to the use. It’s hit and miss depending on how much stock is left on the floor by the time you arrive but it doesn’t hurt to ask an employee if they have more than what’s already on the floor. Good and near perfect ones have been found here and the price is better than other places.

Boards were in good shape. Served the purpose.

Home Depot always have a good selection of 2x4 boards in decent condition. Despite the memes and controversy I always use Home Depot for lumber and find it to be suitable for what I’m doing.
