looking for 1 1/2" manila rope assumed this was what I was looking for. waited 4 days. when it sh...
looking for 1 1/2" manila rope assumed this was what I was looking for. waited 4 days. when it showed up measures 1.70" over 1 1/2", so it will not fit thru the 1 1/2" hole so now all my time was wasted.

Great rope. However, description should state the true dimension, which is really a tad more than 1 1/2". If you need to drill a hole to pass the rope thru (what we did), you need a special bit & tool, which is very expensive. We went back to store and got the 1", which worked great.

just what i wanted
The rope was just as ordered,delivered on time,all i did was whip the ends and added tape for grips, works great,would buy again.

Good climbing rope
I wanted the 2" rope but decided on this 1.5" rope for economical reasons. I was able to divide it into two 25' climbing ropes using *a lot* of electrical tape. It's well oiled and I only get minor fiber slivers. It's a new toy for the entire family.
