I Purchased 5 of these doors over a period of two years to replace storm doors on my home that I purchased 6 years ago. All of these "Forever" doors have either warped, and/or have areas of corrosion through the aluminum skin. The roll screen work great, but I would not purchase this model of door again. My sizes are 36", 34" and 32" for my various home entrances. My warranty has been honored, and I was sent information allowing me to pick up 5 new door slabs only. No new frames with them, just the door itself. My frames are ok so this does matter to me. I was shocked to learn that the "Forever Door" warranty only goes for 10 years--no where close to forever! Also, I have to pay again for new door installation. These doors are a huge disappointment, but I will have the new doors installed and hope they were manufactured with more quality.

Took a little longer than two hours. The thing I would recommend most is to watch the you tube video for installing this door. The instructions that come with the door are fine but the video mentions things that are not in the instructions. Such as when to install the door sweep. Plus seeing is believing and makes it easier to comprehend the written instructions. The door does what it's designed to do looks good and is very sturdy. VERY IMPORTANT!!!! the drill bits are the wood spade drill bits not metal drill bits. This with regard to the 3/4 and 1/2 inch drill bits you made need to purchase. I was informed by a sales associate to purchase the metal bits, while watching the video installation of the door handle, they show the wood spade bits. Another reason to watch the video.

Worst product with the worst customer service. I had my door damaged from inside with in 3 years of purchase and they would only offer to change the panel, so I have to take all the moving parts and deal with the headache. Do Not Buy.......... EMCO's worst door.

Fits perfectly, love the retractable screen and lock that comes with a key. The outside design on the bottom i really like. I've had it about a month with no problems at all. I don't have any dislikes about it.

Nice heavy door construction. Pre drill holes are prefer. This door did not have them for handle set. Nice fit and finish. A plus because retractable screen.

Avoid this door and anything made by them at all cost. Where do I start. Installed ok. Over the winter the door "warped". When it is closed the bottom is flush and normal and the top is about an inch away. See pictures. I called the warranty department and I swear I have sent over 15 pictures of this and they keep asking for more pictures. I doubt they are going to warranty it. Also their "support", if you could call it that, is over seas and you can barely understand them. To make matters worse they just regurgitate emails from the warranty dept. So the ACTUAL people you need to talk to are unavailable. It's very frustrating and I would never wish this on my worst enemy. Horrible dealing with EMCO. Plus when you give a bad review they put under it a notice to "call their support". If you see one under this one just know I am laughing at it.

Affordable and easy to install. No cutting required. Took me 3 hours to install.

What a night and day difference between the doors we have used in the past and are very satisfied with this door. Pro: -The door fits the opening of our 150 house due to the spacer equipped with the door kit, -The latching/locking system is very well designed within the door with solid handles. -The double weather stripping cut down any drafts. -The retractable insect screen is an awesome design! Con: - We are not carpenters, so the 2 hour install took us 4 hours, BUT well worth it! We Highly recommend this door over any of the others out there.

The person that installed our storm door said this was a Cadillac storm door. It is beautiful. The top section pulls down very easily bringing the screen with it. You can operate it with one hand. I am very pleased with this storm door.

This is an excellent storm / screen door. The best feature is the roll away upper screen. This feature prevents kids and dogs damaging the screen. The door operates very smoothly. Two items of concern: 1) The hole template for the handle hardware used holes much larger than necessary. 2) Time to completely assemble advertised as two hours - only if you are a pro that has installed 50 of the units. Overall - very satisfied with the door and I would definitely purchase another.

I've been wanting a storm door for a year. After much research I decided to get this one. Great price and install went great.

Great quality. Hang right or left. I was able to cut 3" off the bottom of the door to fit my door opening.

Follow the instructions, measure carefully and have a helper as there are times when you will need 3 hands or an item will be out of reach. We did that and it went in like a dream.

High quality and really easy to install. I'd recommend this door to everyone!

Needed a storm door for my condo and this fit the bill. Did not want a full glass door as my dog would have an issue with people passing buy so this works great. The screen is retractable from the top and works wonderfully. A great door for the price.

Excellent quality and relatively straight forward installation instructions

The "Storm Door" cannot stand a spring breeze! Warranty doesn't cover breeze damage either! I bought this door less than a year ago, and yesterday we had a windy spring day here in New Mexico. The frame of the lower window together with the window itself was blown out of the door, crashing into my inner door and shattered (If something hit the door, only the window should be broken. The frame should remain in place). Then I called EMCO, and they said it's not under warranty and would like to charge me $80 for the lower window of a $200 door(installation not included). If you think you are buying a "storm door", think again.

I bought the 400 after reading and seeing the cheaper handles on the 300. Def would recommend the 400 series. Very nice door, live the instant screen.

The door fits well and is easy to open and closes quickly. I really love the sliding screen. I have had it for almost 2 weeks now and finally had cool enough weather to turn off the a/c and use it for the first time tonight and it really helps to ventilate my house. The door looks great on my house too!

At $269 before tax, I expected a little more. Two hours to install? Good luck with that. The box was undamaged when I picked up the door so I expected the door would be fine. The door had two scuff marks on the window molding edge which looked like it could have come from the forks of a fork lift. The top cap of the window was bowed, from what I have no idea. The left side of my French Pane molding is slightly bent. I'll attach pictures. The instructions were very helpful although they fell a little short. Listed here at $219 but mine was not in stock. A Special Order is $268.99. I like the door, but when you're paying a premium price you expect a premium product. As John Snow would say, "Winter's coming" so I hung the door and wrote my review.

Installed in 2013, it's 2017 now. It didn't even last four years. The door is rotting from the inside out. The wood core is expanding so that it won't shut and the metal parts are rusting. It's leaking all the nasty water that is building up inside. It's had leaking problems from the beginning even though it was installed properly. We will be replacing and based on what I see here and Emco's reaponses we won't be buying from them.

This door will last you about seven years and then you'll have to throw it away unless you want your house to look like hobos and raccoons live in it. This is because after five to seven years, the metal exterior will degrade enough to let a small amount of water in, and the cruddy pressboard interior will swell up. This will then set up a positive feedback loop where the expansion makes it more likely more water will get in, and the door will not close properly anymore. Seriously - DO NOT BUY THIS DOOR (unless you plan to move in under seven years). You will have to buy another door again. Check out the pictures of my EMCO beauty.

I bought this door in 2013. After only 3.5 years it is already rotting in multiple locations and falling apart. The wood core cannot get wet without expanding so it is not good for outdoor use!!! Called for warranty replacement and they want to charge me $80, or they'll send me a letter to get just the door panel, if I can find it. I don't think anyone sells just the panel.

This is just what I wanted because the screen is built into the door so all you need to do is pull down the top glass and the screen unrolls. My wife can still have her decorations and I get my fresh air. The door is very is heavy and made with quality materials plus the smooth operation and return to close works perfectly. The nickle hardware are also very nice plus nothing was damaged. I asked one of the workers at Home Depot and he said they sell a lot of these doors and I can see why.

Very difficult to assemble! The pictures were not descriptive enough - sometimes it was difficult to determine which way the piece was supposed to go on . The 2-hour installation that they claimed on the box turned into 2 days. The rain cap at the top of the door was left open on the ends with no plug or cover (see the pic from the instructions) - we filled it in with caulk to keep the water out. The finished door looks very nice and is doing a great job at keeping the rain off our back porch door.

This was very challenging to install. I had the help of a professional carpenter and still made errors lining up the template to drill holes for the lock set. Wound up with extra holes straight through the door that were impossible to patch well and looks awful. Called the support number (says on the instructions to call and not go back to the store), and the agent was completely unhelpful and said there was nothing they could do - no recommendations on how to patch, how to avoid, no larger handle plate to cover the extra hole - nothing. Simply said it's not covered by warranty.

Looks great! It's a real heavy door , wood core. The screw packages are color coded along with color/ directions. The pull down screen is so classy all in one no taking down from year to year. Putting together took 4 hours but I did it solo.
