I purchased them because I was patching holes in my living room to put up some new shelving and remove olddecor. They work great better than holding a large sanding block and really made the surface smooth.

Used the general purpose sanding blocks to sand wood filler...
Used the general purpose sanding blocks to sand wood filler in cabinet doors. Did a great job smoothing filler to match door. Also used to file doors down to fit cabinets. Worked well on this as well.
