Customer Reviews for 3M Safety Eyewear Polarized Glasses with Black Frame Anti Fog and Scratch Resistant Lens (Case of 4)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this product for a honest review. I wasn't sure how I would like polarized safety glasses since I work mostly indoors, but I love the style and fit of these glasses. One thing I immediately noticed was that they didn't fit snuggly on my head. Upon further inspection, I noticed that these are a size larger than my normal safety glasses, presumably because they would fit over normal glasses. My current clear safety glasses fit inside these (see picture). This makes them loose on my face when I look down. This is why I only gave these 4 starts. I don't feel like they are secure enough on my face not to fall off during high activity where I would need to look down a lot or bend over and work on things. That's the only issue I have with them. I really like the fit and style on my face. I have a flat face and glasses never sit on the bridge of my nose but these work fine. I've worn them as sunglasses outside of work an no one has made any comment about "why are you wearing safety glasses?" They are also light enough to use indoors although I'm sure I would get questioned about that.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My first impression of these safety glasses was that they are on the large side. I weare a large hat size, and the pair I received fit loose on me. The frame itself is also big, I felt they were too large for my face, please see photos. The lenses have a medium tint and are not too dark. The tint itself is a neutral grey so they do not alter colors, which I like. The main benefit is that they are polarized and work great for cutting down glare. This is very helpful working around water or vehicle traffic where the glare from windshields is an issue. These are great for outdoor construction work. The frame is made of a matte synthetic that has a soft feel to it. The temples are thin enough that they easily fit under ear-muff hearing protectors, and they have three little slots on each side that should help with ventilation, although it was not hot when I tested them so I can't be sure. The temples also provide good side protection from flying debris. Lastly, I prefer a frameless style because of how light they can be. 3M makes some featherweight styles that weigh only 20 grams, you can hardly tell you are wearing them! This model weighed 34 grams so are almost 60% heavier in comparison. I might be a little spoiled by 3M's previous versions *although they were not polarized*. Perhaps polarized lenses require a frame? All in all, this is a good product, best suited for big guys just because of their size. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M sent me a FREE pair of 3M Polarized Safety eye wear. Feel light in weight while wearing them. Made well and very durable. Depends on what kind of activity your doing. They are loose fitted may fall off when bending over. Really love using them as 3M sun glasses.

They did not fit over reading glasses. Will be returning

Feels a bit fragile, but worked well. The glasses looks very fashionable, the pads are comfortable, and frame is very lightweight. We liked it, and we will buy these for the rest of the team.

I needed some sunglasses to use with my plasma cutter when cutting some steel and remembered I had these to review. They are the Perfect tint to use this way and comfortable to wear. almost forgot I had them on, been bouncing around in my truck for awhile and the lenses werent even scratched after a year or so. Impressed so far. 3m Just makes good products and these are no different. I got this product free to review. I am still happy with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These safety glasses work. They are lightweight and keep the sun out while comfortably protecting your eyes.

The problem with most sunglasses is the separate rubber nose pads or pieces. By design, they fail before the frames and lenses. Intentionally, they are not sold separately, requiring you to purchase a new pair of glasses. These 3M glasses have the nose pieces molded into the frames. Brilliant!

They are comfortable and stay on my face well. They also do a great job of not fogging up like other safety glasses. It doesn't hurt that these glasses also look quite stylish and are hard to differentiate from a regular pair of sunglasses.

Why risk your eyes while scraping paint. These keep all those chips out of your eyes, and are way cheaper than a trip to the ER.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They do block out bright light and the sun light but they kinda distort your view when there's bright light. This is not good when working with power tools close to your hands.

Having used a few similar products before that didn't work at all I was of course a bit skeptical. But to my surprise 3M™ Polarized Safety Eyewear really did keep from fogging up. Like I've said before, just another great 3M product!!

Here is my synopsis: the quality of the frames are comparable to shades double the cost. the added features of polarized lenses, and construction grade impact resistance, up the ante to a much higher cost pair of shades. these are quality.

I found this product useful. It protects my eyes and I like the anti fog scratch resistant. It makes it easier to see and eliminates scratches that often happen wihen working in the workshop. I received this free in exchange for an honest review.

So you don't have to choose between wearing sunglasses or safety glasses if you are working outside like mowing the lawn. Much safer to wear these versus sunglasses and hope they work as well as safety glasses should work.

I was very satisfied with the clarity when working in the sun I could see my markings with no difficulty. The fit and comfort was great. These do not fit over prescription glasses.

I could see the bottom with the polarized lenses which is a big help when I drop something. They fit well and didn't leave any big gaps which is important with eye protection. Try them. You will be glad you did.

We both think they are very stylish and they are very comfortable. They are great sunglasses and they are durable. They block things that can possibly damage your eye when working. My husband enjoyed wearing them as he was making projects outside. I enjoyed wearing them as I mow the lawn. The frame is rubberized which is unique. I am very thankful to have been given these from 3M for free to try out and give my honest opinion. They do what they are designed to do.
