After much research of all kinds of rain barrels, this is the largest capacity decorative tank for the money. A single rain will fill any standard 55gal barrel up and overflow so this 120 gallon barrel is the right size to capture enough water to hand water any garden and all your flowers. This tank’s empty weight is 26.1 pounds and it will weight 960 lbs when full of water. HomeDepot’s specifications are WRONG, this tank is only 64” tall but everything else is correct. The top lid or cover is completely removable which gives you full access to the entire inside of the tank. You will need to drill holes into this lid or on the side to run the pipe or downspout into it since there are no pre-drilled holes for this. There are two ¾” threaded holes, one at the very bottom and another one is 12” up from the bottom.

We have used rain barrels for years and was thrilled when we found this one. In gray it matches our house beautifully. We are now looking into buying another one. The only quibble I have about this beautiful rain barrel is the spigot is a metric and we haven't been able to find a hose with fittings in metric. So every time we use a hose it leaks. Believe me if we didn't need to use a hose we wouldn't but we do. If we buy another one it will go in the front and there we won't need to use a hose very often.
