It took over 45 minutes for 2 HD employees and me to dump two sacks in my truck and that only after we cut the bottoms out of the sacks. We still had to kick the sides to dislodge the sand. The sand was soaking wet and so compressed it barely came out. I’ve seen others w/ the same problem.

Nice clean sand. A bit of debris on the top layer, but after first couple of inches was very clean. No rocks in the bag I got. Packed well for paver project. Would buy again when needed.

Convenient way to get a small amount of bulk sand without having to have it trucked in from a rockery. I have a flat bed trailer/pickup so easily loaded and brought home. One note, the bags are claimed to weigh 1000 lbs, my small tractor was able to lift bag, probably only 500-600 lbs each.

I wish they had the 1,000.00 bags in the Chicago Illinois area. I have a house in Antioch Ill. Because It would come in real handy.

Sift it before you use it! This product was the perfect stuff to form the bottom of my above ground pool. I have purchased 4 bags of this sand and most of it has been very clean and free of debris. I bag in my last order included a lot of small stones and several (3) LARGE pieces of glass. I'm talking the size of my palm. One can imagine that this is not a good thing in a pool bottom. Otherwise the sand is exactly what I needed at a very good price. I will buy it again with the knowledge that I cannot trust it to be free of glass and stones.

Used for laying down a brick patio. Fine texture and very clean.

I ordered 8 bags too much for my project and no way to return due to its weight. The sand was quite clean and I found only one small stone. Some of them I put it in a homedepot big mortar plastic tub ($13) for my granddaughter to play as a sand box.

Exactly as described. Worked great.

The sand is light brown, not white. The sand slump (angle of repose) is fairly steep compared to play sand or silica sand. Using sand for landscaping and seems to work fine for that. Bulk price is great compared to price for 50 pound sacks.

The sand was amazing. We did not find any rocks or other debris mixed with the sand, it was quite clean. We used it underneath pavers, and it worked exactly as hoped.

Used it to stablize some paving stones. It was like having a beach in my backyard until I laid them.

I used this sand for an above ground swimming pool base and it was perfect for the application. Very well sifted and clean. I had the 4 bags delivered to my home by Home Depot and very pleased with the delivery process and personnel.

Fits the intermediate sand quantities nicely. One bag is handled easily in a compact p/u, or 2 to 3 bags easily in a half ton or larger truck.
