The mulch is great! Did exactly what I needed. The delivery was very smooth; the truck driver put it just where I wanted. The reason I did not rate this a 5-star purchase is because of the exorbitant price from Home Depot; 25% higher than if I had used the actual mulch vendor. My bad for not taking more time to review other options besides Home Depot.

Quality of the wood in the mulch was OK. It was full of a lot of wood that looked like it came from laminated furniture. I think the Scott's and other brands have a better quality of mulch.

The mulch was delivered to us on-time and so far, the color is holding up beautifully. We've received numerous compliments on our yard now that the new mulch has been spread throughout our yard and retaining walls. We definitely will order again!!!

Mulch mixed with demolition debris
This mulch is 99% wood and 1% is all sort of construction and demolition debis, like pieces of plastic, nails, tape, what have you. If this does not bother you it is otherwise a very nice looking mulch.

Hazardous debris mixed in
I not maly do not write reviews but since I deliberately purchased more expensive mulch for my kids play ground .( not the fundraiser or 5 for 10) I expected clean mulch and only mulch. This came full of debris which looks like it must have been painted furniture they ground up. Found glass, long nails, ceramic and other unidentifiable items mixed not I am concerned about allowing to children to play in it.
