While not all wood is going to have that "perfect" look, the post (4) I got looked great. That is because of Christopher at Woodward store. He took the time and made the effort to find me the best looking post. I really appreciated that because these post are going to be used to support our front. They are strong, durable and "yeah" they look great.

I Ordered quantity 4 of this as part of a big order to build a pergola, I received the order in time, but unfortunately one of these items was in a bad shape; it will take a lot of effort and paint to bring to an acceptable look to have it in a pergola.
I called customer service, and they simply said bring it back and replace. I tried to explain that this is a very bulky item and it is not easy to do this, but they would not care. I asked to talk to a manger and I was put on hold for a while and then got disconnected!
Very disappointed with this part of the order, though I always have good experience with Home Depot!

Very pleased with my purchase. Purchased these to build two ramps. One of them for an SUV so I can store my vehicle in the shed. Everyone I purchased was straight and true and had very few knots. I will definitely be purchasing more.
