Poor craftsmanship, the front of some had huge knots in the front extra sanding & paint needed to cover. The holes for the lights were not even , depth to short, width to large even split wood from screws not put in straight the stand. I make these to sell & unfortunately home depot is the only place that sells them. Whom ever makes these needs to take their time & the quality would be better

Very disappointed. Holes for lights are poorly cut, Entire item had to be finish sanded, screws on base do not line up with wooden piece.

Very cute when done. Needed to drill holes larger to accommodate mini lights.

I ordered 3 of these, all of them need extensive sanding around the edges look like they were cut with a bad blade. The were dirty, 2 of them looked like they had some type of tire marks on them as if they were run over by something. The bases were pulled out of all 3 of them when they arrived. The one good thing about them is they are made of thick wood.

The wood was very rough and many of the holes were not large enough for the lights to go through. 1. I sanded the wood down 2. I took it apart and put longer stronger nails in it. 3. I drilled the holes large enough for the lights to go through. I like these products I also have the tree but I bought knowing that I would have to prep it.

Snowmen were poorly constructed. An anchor screw was placed too close to the edge and a board split. The edges were not smooth with uneven cuts and dents. The edges of the drilled holes needed sanding before the snowman could be painted.

The kids love it. It is easy to paint and decorate. Thanks.

One of the snowmen the base was not on it it was splintered it has to be sanded befor you can even paint then I would not by them poor. One is splintered I don’t no if sanding would fix it but there’s word it has to be done to them before you can even paint 5hem

I was surprised by the knots and uneven finishing of the edges. The holes for the lights were not trimmed enough to put the lights in. I will need to use a drill to smooth and widen the holes. If I order again, I will want to examine it before purchase.

I sent it back the bottom plate which was to screw into the bottom of the snowman did not fasten - the snowman bottom was poorly cut

Several of the snowmen were not screwed down well, very loose and wobbly, had to glue several of them

Cute and fun to paint. It has 35 holes for lights, but no lights fit through it. I had to drill the holes bigger. Also, 35 light sets are difficult to find, so I had to use a set of 50 lights.

Not overall happy. Some were broken. Some had short screws in them and that make them wobbly.

I purchased 2 snowmen and 6 Christmas trees and had to do a lot of sanding and wood putty to get them to look half way decent to paint. The stands were either broken into 2 pieces where the screws went in, or the bottom of the snowman/tree was split and broken. It appears that they just used whatever random screws they had laying around. One tree had a 1" black screw and a 2 1/2" deck screw!

These were a great craft project. They came assembled but were a bit wobbly so I took them apart and painted them how I wanted them and then used wood glue and screwed them back together and had no problems! for the work put into them; you can't beat the price.
