This is just the outer casing of a Column and not the actual column itself. The product is way overpriced, and you still need to get the interior column on your own. To add on top the delivery was over a week late after I complained that they had not shipped.

Be aware that the capital and base trim is not included and not sold at Home Depot so I paid $720 for 12 pieces of vinyl column wrap for three porch posts. Overpriced! I’m very disappointed because in some reviews it said that the trim was included.

Easy to cut to exact length and snap together.

This is a wrap and not a column. It was cheaply made for the price. Ended up returning it.

Beautiful finish on the white powder coating and looks just like the pictures. I had mine professionally installed and it took him 3-4 hours including removing the old posts. The 8 foot length box will probably fit most SUV’s if you place it between the front seats extending backwards.

The area that I live in has been having non-stop rain for weeks. We have been unable to finish installing the railing due to the rain, wind and soggy yard. One day next year I can give you a rating on the post. Either that or we will be busy building an ark.

This product is advertised as "load bearing" which is not true without the load bearing plates required by the manufacturer. This information is not provided in the product description or specs. And it does not appear that Home Depot sells the plates. The manufacturer also recommends tie down brackets, but these do not seem to be available from Home Depot either.
