This is the best gift I've received in a long time. The insertion of the unit fit perfectly in our wood burning fireplace that we no longer can use. Flames in the unit are far more beautiful than they ever were in the old fire place. We just had our annual Holiday family dinner and everyone was amazed at the beauty of the flames and control of the heat with the remote control..I'm on oxygen recovering from lung cancer surgery and this fire place is smokeless and a wonderful blessing to me

Fireplace Insert - Could Use Improvement
The insert functions and heats well and is easy to operate. I was, however, unaware that the thermostat works only at preset temperatures. There is a 99 degree setting. Really? But the lowest setting is 71 degrees. What happened to lower temps that are needed to only protect against freezing? Other units we have do that very well. And why can't the flame projector and led lamps be shut off during heating? We don't always need the ambiance.

We apologize this electric fireplace unit did not meet your expectations. As a fireplace insert, this was not designed for lower temperatures. Its main functionality is to always heat your room quickly and act as replacement for a traditional wood-burning fireplace. The presets are provided merely for convenience.
