The installation direction were terrible. It took us several hours using make-shift techniques to get it installed. The item is beautiful, but the lights are not very bright and the fan is super loud even on the low setting.

Its a great home & living improvement. I wish it would have been a remove and replace, but we had an old hood with cabinet.The new look out weighed the need for cabinets. We had to re-located the plug, open wall, re-inforce, drywall, plaster, paint--lots of work, but kitchen looks awesome now!

No surprises, required some creative construction skills to install overhead since studs were not...
No surprises, required some creative construction skills to install overhead since studs were not aligned in my wall, but not too difficult to figure out. Works as I thought it would and I am satisfied. The only issue I have is with setting the clock on this model, the instructions don't tell you how and if your model does not have the -/+ bar, the manual even tells you that military time is the only setting.

Great product horrid directions
Product itself is awesome. However if you plan on installing it yourself be prepared to learn the Elvish language because they are not easy to decipher and do not go in the best order for installation. Also doesn't tell you what size hole to drill if you are mounting it to the wall with a backsplash already installed. I had to guess at the right pilot hole size for the anchors thankfully I nailed it. Looks awesome & works great now.

Easy installation, and overall good product. The chimney is slightly odd in design, and if your ceiling is 8' or close to, there could be some slight obstacles to get over if you decide to install yourself. Aside from this, great product, beautiful look and serves it's purpose well.

Please try holding the power button down for about 3 seconds and use the +/- to set the hour and minutes. Really loud
This hood looks sharp and was easy to install. I like the clock display in the front, however when its running on low, it is really loud. Really loud! We dont have it ducted to vent outside..if that would make a difference i'm not sure. If I had to make the investment again, I would probably look at other options.

We have had the hood up and running for about 2 weeks. Love the look, but the noise is too much. ...
We have had the hood up and running for about 2 weeks. Love the look, but the noise is too much. Not sure if there was an installation issue with the contractor or if it's just not as advertised. On low the dbs (and that's with an app on my tablet) is 65+ and then at high it's over 75. There is a bit of rattling so installation could be a factor. When purchasing this hood my three requirements were 1. very efficient 2. very quiet 3. same as 1 and 2.
