I bought four of these unfinished versions to stain to match my oak cabinets in the whole house. the stain came out a different color than the oak cabinets, I had had to try several different colors to try to match. not a close match , but passable. grain did not stain as dark as oak.

the piece only had a hole no connection to plug in telephone line into. Had to find that seperately

We want a PHONE cover plate the picture of it on line was not what we received on 2 attempts to get the cover plate.

Wanted to match all the plates by painting them to match the room color. They look great and add a great finishing touch. Very happy with the finished product

Good product, rustic, easy to stain and seal.

I bought this thinking it would work for a dimmer switch plate, but it didn't. Still, it was solidly made. The edges needed sanding before it could be painted, as did the other bare-wood switch plates of this brand that I bought at the same time. I didn't bother to paint this one since I couldn't use it, but the others held paint well and turned out very nicely.

Solid product, just as we expected it to be. Stained and installed on the same day.

Had a plastic wall plate for a cable connection. Having refinished the log home bedroom it was in, wanted a nicer looking wall plate. Was able to take 2 sided cable connection out of the plastic plate and install in the finished wood one. A little awkward to tighten the nut that hold it in place, but nothing too bad. Looks much better and took no time to replace the old one.
