Installed an APEC RO system in our new home and purchased the icemaker kit a month later. We wanted to be able to enjoy the same quality in the water and ice dispensed from the refrigerator. This kit included everything we needed to make the connection. Easy to install, no leaks and we can now enjoy clean pure water in our ice and cold water dispensed from the refrigerator.

My refrigerator is across the kitchen from the RO system so I needed most of the 20' of tubing to get the water connected (I had to run the tubing under the floor). I went down through the bottom of the cabinet with the RO system and up through the floor next to the fridge. Everything is working but, as you would expect, there is a drop in water pressure. However, the only issue is that the ice tray doesn't fill completely. Not a big deal, it just takes longer to fill the ice bin. The kit came with everything I needed except a connecter to join the two quarter-inch nuts (you can see it in the photo). I didn't have any leaks but there's a trick to these tubing connecters: when the tube is pushed in part of the way there's some resistance and it's easy to assume the tube is in far enough. Not so, you have to push until there's a full stop, then pull back and insert the ring. I've worked with these before and have never had any leaks by doing it this way.

This is an excellent kit, everything needed to install with my Apec Reverse Osmosis system. Also, shipping was fast. This product met all my expectations on what was needed, the shutoff feature to fridge is great. Very easy to install.

We purchased this R.O. System to replace our 20 year old system. Installing this was a breeze as we had a set up already in place. We replaced system within an hour including all of the hoses. Water and ice taste better, water pressure is excellent and water regenerates faster. This system cost LESS than our system we purchased 20 years ago but we we like it MORE. We highly recommend this R.O. System and would definitely purchase again!

Very easy to install, took under 5 minutes. Plastic components are fine although I’d prefer them to be a little more heavy duty.

I have installed lots of to systems and this one seems to have more flow then the ones I put in for others, they generally purchase their own and call me to put it in.

I bought this kit as I needed the full 20 feet. However, the piece of tube I received was only 15 ft. Had to go buy a new piece if tubing for the run I needed. Otherwise parts are as advertised.

The kit was really easy to assemble. Fit perfectly with the reverse osmosis system that I installed.

Thought this would eliminate the salty taste in our water. It did not. It took some of the taste out but not enough as describe in the description. Pretty much a waste of money. I did water pressure test and had my water tested. This RO system should have totally gave us clean drinking water. It did not!

Installed the APEC RO under the sink system a month before a new refrigerator. When the frig arrived all the plumbing was in place. This kit comes with everything needed to join RO water to the ice maker. Very happy with the quality and abundance of 20' water line.

Ice kit is a must if you can do it. It was easy to install and the ice is so much better quality. Almost clear to the appearance
