Essence 5 stage complete filter set is made with high quality filtration components to protect and prolong the lifespan of your reverse osmosis system. Premium quality filter set lasts over 6 months for high performance contaminant removal, while the membrane and post carbon filter last 2 to 4 years. 1st Stage sediment removal 5 micron 10 in. filter -removes dust, particles, and rust. Protects and extends the life of the membrane and system. 2nd and 3rd Stage carbon block 10 microns 10 in. filter -gets rid of unpleasant chlorine, tastes, odors, cloudiness and colors. Also removes VOCs and other common chemicals from the water. 4th Stage high contaminant rejection TFC reverse osmosis membrane removes a wide variety of contaminants including arsenic, bacteria, chlorine, lead, fluoride, chromium, radium and more. 5th Stage Coconut Shell Refining Carbon 10 in. filter -removes any possible residual taste from the tank. Compatible for 50 GPD Essence and most standard size under counter reverse osmosis systems.

Q:Is this compatible with the Falsken 5-stage system FAL-RO5-35E ?

A:  Dear Ryan, Based on our review, the bottom stages 1-3 filters looks standard size like ours 10"H x 2.5"D but this package comes with a 50gpd membrane which I cannot determine if your system uses 50gpd (gallon per day) membrane. Our stage 5 inline carbon filter comes standard 1/4" tubing in/out quick connect. Best Regards, Ken APEC Customer Service

      A:  Dear Valued Customer, Thank you for contacting. APEC. I am sorry your water is not tasted as good as it usually does. It is very rare for Reverse Osmosis highly purified water does not taste good. Please allow your water to drain for a few minutes after installation. Also, verify your diagram to make sure all connections are properly installed. Our filters are not NSF 53 certified but based on our research, Reverse Osmosis and carbon filters are designed to remove 90%+ of pfos and pfas.
