Sorry excuse for a lamp. Designing a lamp so it fits into the smallest possible box for shipping, makes the lamp cheap and flimsy. I never thought a lampshade could be folded in the box! Returned.

Not bad for a side lamp.Got it in sale at Home depot.com . Would recommend the lamp.

Easy to assemble. Very sturdy. Lamp shade is true burlap. Perfect size for lighting next to my sofa. My only negative would be the switch...it's awkward to reach and turn.

The lamp was very easy to put together. I will be buying a new lamp shade as I wôuld like a lighter color. Wonderful lamp without spending a lot of money.

Lamp came in a small box. Super easy to assemble. Looks great and the bottom stand allows it to slide under our couch. Perfect for our narrow space. Love it - great value.

The lamp is sturdy, easy to assemble and looks great.

Came very cleverly packaged and was quite easy to assemble. My one caveat is that the stem is not arched as acutely as it is in the photograph, depending on how the lamp is angled you will see the light bulb.

It was just what my wife needed for her sowing room.

Purchased to compliment a table lamp with similar burlap shade. Bingo!! They look great in the room together. Easy to put together. Love the light from it, the look of it and happy to have it in my home.

I purchased 2 for my cabin's loft where I use them to light a custom work space. Packages contained all the parts. Lamps went together easily. Need to be careful with the set screws that are not already installed in the base and switch end of the or if you back any out to insert parts. They are very tiny, easy to drop, and hard to chase down when they roll into a floor vent. Until I fix, 1 of mine is a "Leaning Tower of Harrison" ARC Lamp. Switches have a positive on/off click. Shades compliment the metal finish. I'm good with the on sale/buy of the day purchase.

This lamp arrived missing one of the curved pieces that would allow the lamphead to be extended out. Since it is a pre-wired set-up at the factory, the drone worker missed including the arm at the time of assembly. Predictably, Home Depot does not have any spare parts so fixing this oversight by re-wiring it to include the missing curved arm piece was out of the question. After looking at the lamp in general, the design is OK, the finish looked cheap, the burlap bag material used for the shade was horrible, the quality of the parts was poor, and the lamp, even if it had come with the correct parts, was definitely not worth the price. If it was priced at $20, it might be OK, but with the poor quality and really stinky retrograde burlap bag shade, this item is one to avoid unless you have poor taste or love retro-burlap bag decor. Avoid at all cost and bad judgment.

i would only reccommend this product if the price were lower. installation was a breeze. took me about half an hour, i could set up a second one in about 15 minutes,. it has a pretty chintzy look but t it sits iin a corner and works just fine

This lamp is tall and therefore has three pole sections that have to be screwed together. On this particular lamp the threads on the shaft sections were not true to the shaft (at an angle to the shaft). Therefore I returned it and did not reorder. I must say that the return process is absolutely painless. I called the 800 number, received a pre-paid shipping label via E-mail, attached label, set the package on the front porch and WaLah UPS causes the package to disappear. End of story.

Nice lamp, but pricey. Does not allow much light to emit. I bought it at 55% off. At that price, I think it was worth it. Combined with a 2nd lamp in the living room, it gives off enough light.

Needed to really hunt for the instructions to put this Xmas present together, but, when it was done,I find a very solid & usable reading lamp for in the bedroom.!

Easy to assemble. Looks and performs great. The shade comes collapsed so it ends up with a few wrinkles in it (hence the "good" not "excellent" rating on appearance). Lamp is in our guest room, so I haven't made it a priority to apply a steamer to see if they can be removed. Would buy again.

Really like this lamp but not in love with it. I got this as a deal of the day and only paid $50 for it. This lamp is totally worth the lamp at this price point. The only complaint I have is I would like for it to have a longer overhang so it could go further over my couch but it does show measurements (really shouldn't complain about that because I hate measuring things and didn't look at that ahead of time). At the end of the day it has enough height and length to it to make me happy enough to keep it. I spent a lot of time looking at similar lamps from Pottery Barn, West Elm and the like but couldn't bring myself to shell out the cash for those models. If you're looking for a good compromise on style and price this should be your go to for this style of lamp. The base is nice and heavy and the lamp is very sturdy. It takes a little while to assemble but if you’re at least moderately intelligent you shouldn't really have any issues.

The lamp was a little difficult to assemble without help. The shade is a little bit crooked and slightly lopsided. We got this lamp on sale and, overall, it was a good deal. The assembly instructions and the label on the light fixture (hard to remove, by the way!), both said to use a three-way bulb. The lamp does not support a three-way bulb and the description online says it is not a three-way switch. The shape of the lamp makes it unobtrusive and it looks nice with our decor.

I BOUGHT THIS FOR 50% OFF SO IT WAS A GREAT DEAL. IT TURNED OUT A LITTLE SHORTER THEN I THOUGHT IT WAS. IT SAID WILL TAKE A 150 WATT BULB, THERE WAS A TAG ON THE FIXTURE ITSELF STATING IT WOULD TAKE A 3 WAY BULB, I BOUGHT ONE BUT IT ONLY WORKS ON ONE WATTAGE
