This fan is super loud. It sound like house it’s gonna lift off lol. I’ve used only engine to replaced old one and the thermostat. I need a quick fix and it was cheaper to buy whole kit then single pieces. In future I would look on other options

Great price on this product. I took the motor out to install in the same unit already installed on my roof. Works great.

We love this vent fan. It keeps the attic nice and cool. It helps cool our whole house. This was a replacement unit so the installation was quick and easy. Our last fan lasted for years and years I was happy to find the same unit for sale at Home Depot. We bought out first one in 1995. Each fan has lasted about 10 years.I also like the adjustments for heat and humidity so we can control how much the fan turns on and off. If you want to help keep your house nice and cool I strongly recommend the Air Vent Corp 1500 CFM unit.

The motor mount was poorly designed. The motor vibrated and the mount could not be tightened enough to hold it tight. I had to reinforce the existing bracket to hold the motor tight. I do not recommend this product until the product is re-designed.

It sucks, Like a pro

This is the third Air Vent 1500 CFM Power Roof Mount Attic Ventilator we've owned. The first one died after 5 years and Air Vent replaced it under warranty. The second one lasted for 15 years and then died, so I am anticipating that this one will run for 15 years. If it does I will be satisfied.

It appears that somebody had purchased this before they shipped it out to me because it would also appear that the thermostat had been tampered with. The label was almost all the way chewed off the front of it. I paid to have it installed and now I have to pay to have it repaired. Unfair!

The fan is do noisey it wakes me up at night.

Much quieter than my previous fan that I could actually hear running in my home. This one I don't hear

It fit in place of the old attic fan, but is "MUCH NOISIER." Also, the canopy on the fan does NOT extend as close to the roof as the old fan did. As a result rain enters the mesh vent area around the fan and drips into the attic space. This did NOT occur with the old unit. NOT AT ALL SATISFIED!!! Would NOT purchase again!!!!!!!!!!! I will have to install some form of shield to overcome this issue otherwise my attic will be wet below the fan NOT GOOD, NOT HAPPY!!!

I believe in these fans; keeps my attic cooler which saves my new roof. I put the original fans on my roof over 25 years ago and my roof shingles lasted 28 years. Could have went perhaps 3 more years on original shingles, but at my age decided to go with a complete tear off, and my new shingles will at last me. Just make sure you have plenty of sofit vents to balance out the CFM of the fans. I have been extremely happy with these fans for even though I have insulation in the ceilings along with blanket insulation over that; since these fans keep my home attic cooler and the humidity down I am getting the best of both worlds. Cooler home and cooler attic. My attic looks like I just put the rafters up yesterday.
