Fit right and easy to install

If the screen door you’re replacing has the same dimensions, this door should work. Bought it based solely off of the dimensions and it works great.

Size of door, limited options to American Craftsman. No instructions included; internet searches turned up 0 hits for "sliding screen doors by American Craftsman". Set the bottom rollers then pressed down on the top rollers to fit them in the top track. Slid to the L to close & it worked. Attempted to open fully & top rollers came out of the track. Upon investigation, instead of springs attached to the rollers, there is only a thin piece of metal - imagine a big paper clip bent to act as “spring”. Couldn’t believe my eyes! One would think this came from Temu or Wish, not Home Depot.

Classic case of “you get what you pay for”. I wish I was smarter when I got my sliding door years ago but I got the chreap one and of course the old screen broke and didn’t slide well any more. I just picked up this replacement screen and of course it’s worse than the original one that was on the door. Stay away, it’s not worth the frustration

The screen began to fray within a week of purchase. Terrible, cheaply made overpriced junk.

The door is compatible with a series 50 model 6068 sliding door. There are no adjustments needed. The first two screen doors HD recommended in the store would not work even though the store employee picked them out and said they would. I had to eat the cost of one.

Perfect fit. Just simply drop in.

The lack of packaging support made it impossible to transport. We don’t know if the door was already warped at pick up or if it warped transporting home (lying flat in a trailer). Now it doesn’t close correctly
