Great toilet for the money/value. It has a superior flush & hasn't clogged in the past 2 months. The design & composition are a reflection of the workmanship & materials utilized. Contracted professional service to install for fit & finish. Definitely would buy again.

So I called American standard and they admitted bad batch of tanks that were cracking. So they said they would said to me, takes a couple of weeks. Ok, fine. Well not fine, so after all the agravation it arrived. Hooray, well not so fast. Removed old tank. The went to set the new replacement and it did not fit. So I looked at old tank and saw it had a straighter front face. Then I checked bar code mode number and found out they sent the wrong tank!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What is going on with this company. Now I have to wait another 2-3 weeks. I gave them my barcode from tank and gave model number. They still got it wrong. They should pay a plumber to install it at this point with of course the proper tank. I bought a kholer for my other bathroom. Works great, no issues with that. Beware buying these toilets!!

I LOVE IT AND IT USES LESS WATER, BUT FLUSHES WELL

I like the look and height of the toilet. Too soon to tell about whether it clogs or not. Hope it doesn't. :)

My old toilet had a weak flush. The Champion 4 solved the problem.

Toilet was as advertised. Installed without a problem. Looks good, works fine like a quality Amercan Standard should.

flush handle very difficult to push down. sometimes does not flush completely. the seat is flat and squared and most uncomfortable. would like to exchange it

After several years of intermittent clogging and plunging I decided to replace the toilet in the master bath. I wanted a toilet with a quiet flush and a modern design that would not clog. The American Standard Champion 4 has a superior design with its Accelerator 4-inch flush valve. This creates a fast and powerful flushing action that works every time. This is the best toilet I have ever purchased. No surprise that its very highly rated by Consumer Reports.

I’ve had these toilets a few months now, so far have never had to use the plunger at all, our old ones needed it all the time, no problems with them at all, so I’m happy!

Works great well worth the extra money

Looks good. Flushes quickly and completely. Perfect height for us. We had a plumber install it, but it seemed simple enough. Only complaint is that the lid does not fit properly on the tank. We had to pad one of the corners to keep it level and prevent rocking when someone leaned on it. Appears to be either a design flaw or manufacturing defect.

I bought this toilet to prevent clogs which it seems to do and I like one piece part for easy cleaning. Overall a good toilet but I feel it's over priced. It sweats quite a bit and for the high price I would expect some type of tank insulation to prevent sweating.

The waste circles around in the bowl before it sometimes goes down. It also comes with a plastic toilet seat. Very cheap for an expensive toilet IMO

I definitely like that the toilet is higher for sitting and standing. So far, it seems to work just fine
