First thing I noticed when opening the box was the finish, very nicely done. Secondly when lifting it out of the box it is definitely much heavier than a regular kitchen faucet. It will do very well mounted on our laundry tub. The old faucet has a hot water valve that is almost impossible to open or close and removing it was definitely a struggle as everything was well corroded. Installation was very easy as everything is all shiny and clean. Attached faucet to tub with included gaskets and inlet nuts. I then applied thread tape and attached the inlet hoses. Reconnected drain line, turned on water, job complete. A nice feature will be the ability to connect a garden hose to run water to the other parts of the basement. This would also be an excellent faucet in a commercial situation such as a maintenance room or closet with a deep sink.

Quick turn handles and high flow makes for a great utility sink faucet. No aerator, but there are easy options for that. This is a utility faucet with a hose end which comes in handy for filling buckets or that kind of thing. You can easily attach a short section of hose for that purpose. However, I usually don't use it for that, instead, I use it with an aerator. Using a simple adapter, you can easily install an aerator, with no tools required. That means you can easily convert to hose for those times you may need it. Please view the video where I show the quick installation of an aerator. The faucet itself is very nice. I especially like the quick quarter turn handles. When you have your hands full of paint, they easily turn with the bump of an elbow. And the faucet just looks good! Beware that there is no flow restriction without an aerator. You'll get a lot of water out quick. That's good for cleaning purposes. Installation is standard with easy plastic locking nuts that run on the standard water supply inlets. The video explains the aerator installation, but if you don't want to watch it, I can suggest you look at the following part available at Home Depot: 'Neoperl Faucet Adapter, Female 3/4" hose x male 55/64" - 27' (Neoperl #589483, Model# 37.0114.98) if you are interested in using standard utility faucet (not hose end) aerators. Good faucet, well made from quality materials (it’s not plastic!) Chose this model for a utility sink because of the threaded spout (where a hose can attach) and the wing style handles so I can turn them on with a wrist or elbow if my hands are filthy. Installs very easily to flexible supply lines.

This faucet is very strong works well and looks good. My only real complaint would be that there is no aerator. The hose threads are cut directly on the spout.

I love my faucet, especially the hose end. The faucet is strong and it lives up to the American Standard qualities. I usually buy Moen or Delta, but I have returned to American Standard for its impeccable durability, improved selections and reasonabale prices.

This is a very useful utility sink faucet. The "hose end" indicates that the faucet outlet is threaded to match a typical garden hose connector, allowing you to attach a hose if needed. The single-page instruction sheet was helpful, with clear illustrations. As usual, the most difficult part of installation is removal of the old fixture. Note that you must purchase flexible water supply lines separately; they are not included with the faucet.

The product was easy to install. The price was higher than other faucets, but worth the difference in cost.

This is a perfect faucet for a utility sink. I didn't realize before what a pain it was to turn my old faucet handles. The handles on this Colony model are so easy to turn with wet hands, or using just your wrist or elbow (if you are that flexible!) if your hands are dirty. It was really easy to install, and it swivels really nicely from one basin to the other. It's also really good, thick quality metal, and the threaded spout is a great extra.

This COLONY PRO 2-HANDLE UTILITY FAUCET WITH HOSE END IN POLISHED CHROME is an excellent faucet for a utility sink because it uses the standard 4 inch spacing with two 1 inch holes commonly found with plastic utility sinks. The handles are good size with long extensions so they are easy to operate even with wet hands. The end of the faucet spout is male threaded for a standard garden hose which is a handy feature. The design is simple and classic with a good quality heavy chrome plating.

This faucet is a good value. It is a nice size for a laundry tub. It has a good weight and appears to be of very good quality (brass construction, ceramic disc). The handles are easy to turn, unlike the plastic round handles on the faucet I replaced. The construction is metal, not plastic. It has a nice chrome finish. Installation was easy as this was a replacement so the supply lines were already there. It also has a threated spout to attach a hose. Very happy with this choice.

Exactly what I needed in my laundry tub. Positives: + metal + Quarter turn handles that can be operated with elbows or single fingers, makes easy to turn on the faucet when your hands are nasty and easy to turn off when juggling 3 things. + Brass construction inside + Lots of water flow + Easy to attach a hose Negatives: - none that I can find. My previous faucet in my laundry tub was well used and starting to leak at the pull out head. The colony pro from American Standard is really designed for a laundry tub room. Its sturdy, well made and easy to use. I made the mistake previously of having the round knobs to turn on the faucet... With the colony pro that is not a worry, its nice big paddles that you can grab and hit with your elbow with ease. I also use this to fill up vessels for making beer, so it had to be able to attach a hose to, and yep it has that. As a result of being designed for a hose it has no aerator on the end so you get FULL water flow. Which for the laundry room tub/utility tub that is totally what I want. Could not be happier with the quality, design, and ease of use.

This faucet was very easy to install and well made. The best attribute is the the quarter turn lever controls. Easy to operate if your hands are wet or dirty. Great unit for those that have problems operating traditional full turn knobs. Never again will I have to replace those useless rubber washers that allows leak.

Very nice finish. Thick and sturdy, smooth knob turning. Wide flowing from over-sized pipe faucet. The best utility sink faucet I have seen anywhere.
