This fixed the toilet running periodically in my American Standard Cadet. Installation took about 20 minutes.

Even though this part number is the one American Standard says goes with the number inside the toilet tank, it is NOT the same. The original was 8.5" high. This one is only 6" high.
Fortunately, I was able to glue on a piece of pvc pipe to make it the correct height.

It did not fit the toilet size I have; apparently, HD no longer manufactures that particular toilet. I have had too many problems with the water tank parts causing leak to give it better rating.

Did not fit my toilet. I searched my unit on your website, including model number and this is the part you sent. It's a glacier bay! I am so dissatisfied I don't think I'll ever buy a glacier bay product again.
