I regret to say I do not recommend this product. During the initial smoking, using only half of the permissible amount of charcoal, I lit the smoker with a single match and waited for it to heat up. Unfortunately, about ten minutes into burning, the middle section of the smoker begin to peel away the paint. About twenty minutes into burning, all the paint in the mid-section was sitting in my backyard and the metal was rusting and cracking into pieces. As it began to cool, smoke was spilling out of random holes throughout the smoker.

I don't know yet how well it works, since I can't get anyone to put it together for me.

For the price, does exactly what I need it to do. I like the detachable nature of its design.

The product is sturdy and worked well for smoking a 15lb turkey. I've had the smoker for 3 weeks. The product more than meets my expectations. I would recommend it.

It did what I wanted to do

I think I just gonna know how to grill to not dislike this pit. I used it the very first time, made some baby backs, beef fajita, sausage, shorts ribs, and it all came out juicy and delicious. Everyone loved it, everything finished, i never have any leftovers :(

Husband approved! His 5yr old smoker didn't make it past Xmas, so I let him open his gift early. Took about 40min to build. It's still black, not rusty or peeling. He didnt use the water bowl, since his old one didn't have that feature, he SD one day he'll try it. The food was delicious and juicy as usual, definitely recommend to the avid bbq'er!

After reading all these little Pansy reviews...I had to chime in. I bought this grill 3 years ago. And it's not perfect for competing, it has been great for just what we need it for. I guess they're just starting new or a bunch of YouTubers that don't know how control heat. After three years, he's still kicking. I had rust, but a little elbow grease, wire brush and high temperature paint it was good as new. He still is, under $80 what can you expect. My neighbor has a $300+ weber and it peeled and rusted as well. It come down to manning the fX up and take care of your stuff. The grill is hundreds cheaper than others and very much worth it.

after assembly is when i notice the dial says low, medium, high and the temp gauge says warm, ideal, hot. totally useless info. why put in a temp gauge with warm, ideal, hot! i contacted the company to get them to tell me the temp range in degrees for for these warm, ideal, hot, low, medium, high. they told me to go buy a temp gauge that shows degrees and attach to smoker. wow. anyway, wish i had purchased one that comes with temp gauge that shows actual degrees instead of words.

I had to return the smoker after I finished assembly it the middle body part would not fit in the bottom part.

Lid doesn’t fit very well. You have to keep turning it until you find that sweet spot. Also can open the door hatches on the sides because you will get burnt. Unable to change air flow without getting burned like I did. Barely fit 4 New York strips on it. Didn’t make my food taste any better than a typical charcoal grill even though I did use the water bowl.

It is missing the electrical cord and the eye

Miss parts and had to wait for other weeks before I could use the smoker

Great little smoker, but really need the electric plug for an easier experience.
