Renewal by Anderson simply means that they supply the basic (these are NOT top of the line Anderson windows) Anderson windows. They also do all of the measuring, apply for any permits, remove the old windows, remove all of the trash from the old windows and the boxes from the new windows, install all new 1" thick unfinished alder wood casing inside, keep the inside and outside of the house spotless and do it all in about 10% of the time most homeowners could do it. I had 5 windows replaced: a large double operable casement and a large awning, both on the second floor, and 3 on the first floor: large awning, double operable casement and a triple with picture in the middle and operable casements on both sides. This crew of 5 replaced all 5 windows in less than 6 hours on a wind driven, 35 degree December day. I didn't have to do a thing except remove some pictures from the wall. The windows are excellent quality, operate smooth as silk, keep the house warmer and (this was the surprise part) much, much quieter. Now the nasty part - Renewal by Anderson is not cheap. Pricing these windows ala carte at HD will cost more than $10K. Add to that having an Anderson install crew (parts and labor guaranteed for 20 years I believe) along with the quickness and piece of mind for the install will double the price. So, $20K. I found it worth it for these 5 windows - these were the 5 worst and hardest to get to - but you can change as many or as few as you want with Renewal. So if you want to just point and have a salesman and an Anderson crew come back in about 5 months and install the windows, this is definitely the way to go, but it will be somewhat pricy.

Windows were installed easily and looks great. Wife enjoys the extra light provided by these windows.

Great quality. Already have several of these series windows at my house that are 20 years old with no issues. It’s really nice. They’re stocking these now.

One arrived broken with the lower window jamming and was required to be replaced. Other than that the locking mechanism is dated and a bit ugly.

Hi So yes the windows are great but why do they not come with screens or atleast a half screen , I had to order it separately from another company , a half screen would have been greatly appreciated Thanks

Simply the best. These guys know what they are making. Flawless product, packaging and delivery. Thanks Home Depot for bringing this to us. I suggest the aluminium cladding to be part of the inventory than ‘build to order’.

I just assumed there was a screen included, that was disappointing. Now I have to go look for a screen to fit this window.

The windows are fine. I am just really irritated that I had to pay $722/window and they did not come with a screen. I knew that ahead of time so I was not blindsided. I just think it stinks.

The window look nice from inside and outside, but has no pull section to open the window from inside, and no mesh from outside.

In the process of installing the windows myself. 5/20 done so far and the quality and ease of install is really good. I am very happy with the windows so far.

I have purchased several of these I need 16 total. I would say every 3rd one I have had to return. Not due to the window quality due to poor handling and storage. Wrecked nail flanges are the most common problem
