I have installed probably close to 30 Anderson Storm doors...
I have installed probably close to 30 Anderson Storm doors , It just doesnt get any easier than this . Blows away any other door manufacturer for quality and ease of install.

Do NOT purchase!!
After only 8 months, the deadbolt will NOT retract. Anderson is NO help with this known issue. Apparently, the only way to unlock it now is to remove the flexible screw cover, unscrew the screws, apply force to the handle side (without putting force on the glass), and manually retract the deadbolt.
Anderson used to be known for quality and customer service. This is no longer the case.
I cannot use my front door until this is resolved.
I will never buy an Anderson product again.

If the door is stuck in a locked position due to an issue on the inside mechanism, the latch rail will have to be removed/uninstalled first in order to unlock the door. Door install was easy but installation of handle took awhile...
Door install was easy but installation of handle took awhile to figure out. Instructions was confusing. Also the thumb lock on the inside didn’t work but it looks like something internal with door instead of handle. Dead bolt did work okay.

nice looking door and hardware
Bought 3 of these nice looking storm doors for my house the one we use the most is are back door and I liked the locking dead bolt as an extra layer however its been 3 years and i couldnt unlock my deadbolt and get out of my house thank god there wasnt a fire very upsetting other wise i would rate it A great door

This product does not fit a Larson door, it is not universal. In addition, it does not come with ...
This product does not fit a Larson door, it is not universal. In addition, it does not come with the inner working gearing of the inside of the door, so you have to replace that as well. Ended up buying a Larsen handle with the guts of the entire assembly from Larsen for less than the price of this product.

The 45 Minute Easy Install System Handle Set is specifically designed for an Andersen easy install storm door (current model). This handleset would not even work on our other models of storm door, much more that it will not work to a non-Andersen storm door. Also, we do not recommend installing an Andersen storm door part to a non-Andersen door. - Noel

My handle set was missing the lock cylinder and keys....
My handle set was missing the lock cylinder and keys. Home Depot took care of the problem but I would be very careful to check for parts before you begin installing an Andersen door product.
