The product is a nice quality mailbox. I bought 3 and installed them on the property that I rent. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the key / lock mechanisms do not except key very smoothly. They keys have to be moved around when inserting into lock. I feel that feature needs a better operating key / lock

Bought it to secure mail and 2 years later someone was able to break into it. They bent the frame, chipping a piece off, and bent the part that "locks" it. I found it hanging open. I bent the locking mechanism back but would not trust it to be secure. It is even weaker now since the frame is bent and the locking part had to be bent back with pliers.

Was easy install, like that it’s lockable since I’m gone alot!!

Great looking mailbox; we've had it about six months. Unfortunately, the top door is attached to the box with shallow rivets which can be broken pretty easily. In fact, someone broke the entire top door off and pinched our mail. So, yes, it locks but the door is a weak spot. Of course, if someone really wants to steal your mail, they're gonna do it. We just thought this would make them work a little.

My mailbox started rusting and the company representative said the warranty only covered mailbox collapse as a result of something OTHER THAN rust, acts of nature, improper use, neglect, abuse, or vandalism. What else is there?

solid build, excellent design for both functionality and appearance. larger size to accommodate smaller packages securely. added safety by being able to access without stepping out into the road

Bought with expectation that this would secure my mail. Brought home and both my wife and adult son we able to easily insert arm into mail slot and remove envelope from bottom of mailbox. Yes I said remove an envelope from anywhere in the mailbox including the front. How is this secure? Would have been so easy to design mail slot door to be secure.

I loved it Its works so good that you need the keys to get your mail .I try other ones and were to easy to get mail out not with this item. Also I even put lights on it so it wouldn't be to dark I used the Solar Rock light that Home depo sells too.

This is a great mail box for privacy. Mail can go in but you can only use your key to remove the mail. You can remove it from the front or the back of the mailbox. The mailbox comes with the mounting post so you do not have to purchase the mounting brackets. I highly recommend this mailbox.

I purchased this product about a month ago. The price was right and had good reviews. I am very happy with this product, it is easy to install, reliable and secure. Nobody is stealing my mails any more!

Excellent locking mechanism. Mounting to a post can be tricky depending on type of post. Back door not accessible with most wood mailbox posts.

The back also opens for easy retrieval of your mail. So convenient.

For security purposes, I bought this locking mailbox to replace the basic mailbox I had. It is made of galvanized steel but is still very stylish. The locked access openings on front and back are both very tight but key works good and it comes with four keys. The back access opening is much bigger than the front access and is much safer to retrieve mail instead of standing in the street. The key cannot be removed until the access door is re-locked after getting mail which is a good feature. Please note the mounting bracket, hardware and pole are not included. However, the pole and mounting bracket I had actually worked with this locking mailbox as it came with four pre-drilled holes in the bottom of the box that luckily lined up with four holes on my existing mounting bracket. Another good feature is that the screw heads are inside the mailbox instead of on the underside flaps as they were on my old mailbox. This left the nuts on the screws and screw heads exposed beneath the old mailbox to where someone with a drill and backup wrench could easily remove the entire mailbox in seconds. The nuts on the existing screws I had are locking so they require a backup wrench or pliers to tighten or loosen all the way. This mailbox is bigger than a normal size mailbox, but the door flap system limits the amount and size of mail that can be deposited at one time. It can easily accept a normal amount of mail and/or small box. I stuck my hand in the flap opening and I would say there is at least four inches of space for letters below my fingers that a criminal would not be able to reach. It will take small packages but is certainly not intended to be left loaded with mail for an extended period of time. There are numerous locking mailboxes on my street so I know the mailman is certainly used to these. I'm even looking forward to getting bills now!

This is a good sturdy heavy duty large mail box. The only negative is if you leave mail in the box to be picked up by the postman, you must unlock the front, put up the red flag, but the metal flap on the front goes down and the mail box remains open so if it is raining the mail to be picked up by the mailman could get wet. A better design would be to allow the front to remain unlocked and closed

This is exactly what we wanted for our mailbox. Other ones we had only lasted a few years before rusting out. But after reading the reviews, we decided this would fit the bill. It's nice to have our mail in a safe place especially if we're out of town. It's been up for about 2 weeks now, and we love it more every day. The best part is having two locks, one in the front and one in the back. We love being able to check our mail without standing in the street. We have to live security conscious nowadays, and this helps keep our mail secure. Installation was fairly simple, and although one person can install, it was nice to have an extra set of hands in assembling it to the pole. One thing I wish is that they sold the mounting bracket along with the mailbox. We had to make an extra trip to the store, since we ordered it online and didn't know it needed the bracket.

Great size and perfect for what we needed. Three bigger boxes that open front and back since we are on a busy street. We put them up a week ago and the three houses are very happy!

The Oasis 360 Locking Parcel Mailbox was easy to install and is constructed using hemmed and welded steel sheet metal. Although the instructions call for mounting on to a metal post anchored into the ground, 1/4" x 1" flat head wood screws with flat washers can be used to secure the mailbox to the original wooden platform. For installation, I recommend centering the mailbox on the existing wooden platform, opening the large rear door, marking the screw hole location with a pencil, remove the mailbox, and drilling pilot holes for the wood screws. Pilot holes will prevent the wooden platform from splitting. For security, the screws heads should be on the inside of the mailbox. Use either a stubby screw driver or an angled drill with an appropriate driver bit to drive in the screws. I have had the mailbox for about 2 months. The two door access makes it easy to get mail that might be large or in the back of the box. The hemmed and welded steel construction makes for a very strong and secure mailbox.

It's so big, but I love it. It's very well constructed, heavy duty. This will last for many years to come. It comes with instructions and 4 keys. Since it's locked, the way to set the outgoing mail is to set it on the clip and raise the flag (see photo). Once the mailman opens the flap, the mail will be help by the clip. This mailbox in red in the inside, it just looks nice all around. Great design, big enough for large packages/envelopes, and great quality. I highly recommend this.

I love this mailbox! 1. The size is great - all our mail lays flat rather than being folded to fit into the space. 2. The security is wonderful - no worry about mailbox pirates picking through our mail. 3. The box is heavy-duty - adds to the security and it seems that it will last a long time. 4. The rubbed bronze color is beautiful. 5. When paired with a post from the same manufacturer, it is super easy to install and everything lines up exactly as expected. Cons: 1. The keys are a bit tricky to use, but that's due to the little door that has to slide to the side when you enter the key. That is great to keep ice out of the lock, but it has taken a few days to get used to it. 2. The post is not available in the same color, at least from Home Depot. I got the Graphite Bronze post from the same manufacturer, and the contrast looks nice. But I would have liked a post in Rubbed Bronze to match the mailbox.

A few times now magazines I ordered never arrived, even though they told me they were delivered. So, I have to assume they got stolen out of my mailbox. This locking parcel mailbox with its internal "flap" makes it nearly impossible to reach mail or magazines once they are inside. I like that it has a locked door on the front and back. The bottom is corrugated to give it some strength, and it also keeps the mail from laying in water if there should be condensation in the box. It is a metal box, not heavy duty, but sturdy enough. The inlet works well for mail and magazines, bit is too small for most packages. The idea of giving one key to the mailman doesn't work here as they change frequently. Even if we had the same mailman, it would only work for rather small packages.

Handsome mailbox to enhance your home's curb appeal. I have it mounted on a metal 3" round post assembly (not included) made by the same manufacturer. Features locked access from the front or rear. A strong magnet keeps delivery door securely and easily closed without worry from loose or weak latches. Unauthorized retrieval of mail is hindered by a baffle style plate similar to the post offices' curb or sidewalk mail collection boxes we are all familiar with. Points to ponder: * Doors cannot be left unlocked since the lock tabs are the only things keeping the doors closed * Keys can only be removed from the lock in the locked position * Mailbox opening for receiving mail is wider than average but narrower in height than standard boxes Judge for yourself if this style "works" for you

This large, good looking and exceptionally heavy gauge rural style mailbox is a survivor. The most compelling feature for me was the fact that it opens on both ends. I live on a road that is narrow, several miles long, very busy, and people drive too fast on it. I am just tired of risking everything waiting for a break in traffic before darting out into the street to grab the mail on the run before the next car is on top of me. I would want it for any of my elderly relatives for the same reason. It also locks on both sides, which with all the mail theft reports you read, is a good thing. There is a mail chute with its own weather-tight door and a magnetic latch that the postman opens to drop your mail and small packages inside where only you have access. I live in snow country. For the mailbox it is now replacing, I had picked up an inexpensive length of six-inch diameter plastic drainage pipe at Home depot. I buried it into the ground, dropped in three lengths of Rebar, and backfilled it with 2 bags of Quick Crete, easy mix concrete. For the past ten years, when the snowplow has hurled a five foot wall of icy slush at it, and all my neighbors’ mailboxes are going down like dominoes on edge, which is costly and frustrating, mine has always survived without a hint of damage. Be sure to consider some of the really nice after-market custom vinyl decorative house numbers and artwork available on-line now for mailboxes, for a one of a kind finished look, and be sure to check with the post office to confirm your project meets their regulations. I am really pleased with it.

With the rise in mail and packaging theft going on in our neighborhood we decided to install a locking mailbox and this one was our choice. It is large and well made and the dual openings is what made us choose this style. It’s easy for the mailman to lower the lid and place mail and small packages into the box and there is a clip just inside the lid that will hold your outgoing mail for the carrier.

This is the nicest mailbox we've ever had! Solid, almost heavy, 2 locking doors! I can see that. If you or home were situated on a busy road, you don't want to go out onto the road if you can help it, so you can retrieve your mail from the rear of this box! It's almost as large as a large mailbox, but not quite. I can't imagine this mailbox ever getting too full, so it's really an ideal size. And I like the white! So clean looking!

Installed easy, looks great. Only change I added was that I used larger diameter stainless fender washers i had as the provided washers are too small and do not seat right. I also added a combi-cam combination lock and used the cam lock bar that came with the mailbox lock, will add handle eventually as door is hard to open with combicam. All nuts provided on this mailbox are nylon coated to ensure a secure fit. Used with Gibraltar Mailboxes Brighton Aluminum Post, this combination looks great and mailbox mounts exactly on post as if they were made for each other, two pictures provided, enjoy.

This is a nice security type upgrade mailbox. I especially like the pole I purchased from Home Depot. I just wish the pole was in stock at the store instead of having to purchase online. Overall We are happy!

Mailbox shockingly didn't come w mounting hardware&folks in your store didn't know what to sell me. Fiend cut wood that was needed to mount to post. Since its in place, only one lock is opening smoothly w the key.. Back larger door won't unlock. Thought it would work in but is worse.
