This paint is wonderful to work with even on rough siding. It’s only needs one coat and lasts for several years. We used it at least 10 years ago and i just redid the white trim and touched up with the red. It looks great. And it doesn’t show where I touched up against the older paint. Love it and recommend if you like the barn look.

Bad product - avoid.
I bought this paint at the end of the summer 2022 and used it in the fall for the railing on a deck. The railing was pressure treated lumber and had a year of exposure to be able to take the paint as recommended. 2 coats were applied . Attached are pictures of how the paint has held up in a bit over one year. It is absolutely horrible. The paint is bad and the cost of the paint and the work is a loss and now will have to be totally redone. Olympic paint on the deck is perfect.

Based on the pictures you provided, it looks like there may be some tannins bleeding through along with the peeling. To get your project back on track, I recommend removing any loose coating before making sure that the surface is clean and dry. Then, prime the wood with our stain-blocking Multi-Surface Primer (No.436) to seal the surface before recoating the railing. This paint has great coverage with one coat, even on rough wood (I still gave it two coats because that’s what I do).

5 Gallons did two coats on my barn, and had leftovers. Was easy to apply, the color is rich and gave my barn a much needed face lift. I can tell this paint will be durable and last years!

I used this paint on My Back Deck and it covers the areas real nice. Thick paint that lasts a long time as I live in Snow Country and the Snow tends to rub it off during Winter Seasons. This sticks on quite well.

Perfect barn red color
My 20-year-old shed was not looking good, so I decided to give it a makeover. I’m terrible at picking out paint colors, so I was happy to find this barn red paint ready to go. I got inspiration from Pinterest to paint the door gray and the trim white. I painted it 4 years ago, and it still looks great!

The paint went on white and turned rust color- we pre- painted the new boards for our fences indoors - then put them up the next day- they looked good- on the second day it rained and all the paint turned to rust color. We spent two mire days repainting with another brand to get them back to white.

This is an awesome paint. It has a slight smell to it of chemicals but not too bad. Its a large 5 gal container with a twist top vs pull tab which i love! The paint goes on smooth, a bit runny

Great color and lasting
I use this on my fences, deck, and other trims around my house. It covers well. The color is deep and long-lasting. It cleans up easily! I have used it with both brushes and rollers.

Great fence paint!
I bought this paint because the color looks like a match with my horse barn and workshop. It sprayed on super easy and no need to mix the paint. I was using an airless sprayer and not once did it clog up the intake or the spray gun. The color is a match and my new fence looks great!
Clean up was a breeze with soap and water.
Great value from Home Depot especially with my 10% veteran discount!

Barn got a facelift!
This paint sprayed on nicely, the red color is perfect, and it was cost effective. Time will tell on durability however the Glidden we put on 10 years ago completely peeled off and we were very dissatisfied with it.

Awesome picture

Great Paint

Easy to apply, low drips, bright white
Paint was for a picket fence. Price was slightly higher but 2 coats easily covered bare wood fence. Was worried at first because it was so thick, but it went on easily and even! Was a super bright white and surface dried quickly. Would definitely use it again.

Good price for Good paint
This is a barn white review, but the barn is also Behr paint. The fence is barn white. Good thick easy to spreed sticky self priming paint. Like it so much that I will use to paint the house to match the fence.

I painted two coats on my bare wood shed. I didn’t use any primer. The treated panels sat bare for a year before so the wood treatment would dry. It comes off of vinyl and metal easily and cleans up easily also, but sticks well to the wood.
