8 years of this deck stain, best out there!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't want to replace my old deck, so I sanded it down and took a visit to Home Depo, I'm so glad I did! The experienced paint tech advised me that this would safeguard my deck for years to come, thats exactly what its done! I have 3 kids always playing Outside. High traffic area deck, contant family bbqs, all four seasons of fun out side, and I've only had to restain twice in 8 years. I follow the instructions exactly as they are laid out, and havent had issues with peeling, lifting, cleaning. I love the color so much that I expanded it onto the playground, and I further expanded it on to the raised garden beds. The viscosity is so thick it is like paint, and the stain quality is supreme.

Thank you for your review and picture of your project. I'm sorry to hear the stain you applied a year ago is peeling. That is not typical and certainly not the experience we want for our customers. To fix the peeling, we recommend removing any loose coating and cleaning the surface with our All-In-One Wood Cleaner to promote adhesion. Once dry, touch up the bare areas and apply a thin coat if needed for uniformity. If the peeling is widespread, it's best to remove the stain before cleaning the bare wood. Once dry, apply two coats following the recommended spread rate to avoid an over/under application, which can impact the performance. Your customer satisfaction is important to us. Solid stain on older deck
Did our older deck with a solid stain and were so pleased with the results. We wanted white and picked Pinto White rather than the ultra white since it has a softer tone without looking yellow ( as it does on the online chip). Here is a photo of the unfinished deck for comparison, and yes it covers well and is nice to work with.

I use the stain on a boat dock and it hasn't performed great but on boat dock guess no stain little last for long. I reapply every three years.

A BEHR winner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used BEHR's solid color DECKplus product for the past five years. Much of my large deck is exposed to direct sunlight. The solid color I have chosen is a dark brown and it has remained consistent with no fading and superior coverage. I have also used BEHR's deck cleaner with exceptional results.

Deck plus wood stain, amazing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly we went through heck and back to prep our porch but once we were ready we applied this stain and were very impressed. It lasted several years, we even used a red barn color and the color lasted with no fading. I love this product. Home Depot talked us into a outdoor paint and unfortunately it was peeling by the next Spring. Painted in fall. Regretting not sticking to what we love.

Great Deck Stain
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this product for years to refinish my wood deck every two years. Powerwash first, let dry, then use large brush to cover deck and railings Goes on easily and covers well. My best practice is to go over two rows of deck at a time, then quickly go over one more time. That process usually covers and provides a smooth finish. I use a medium gray color.

Didn’t cover evenly and toke 3 times more than it should have. I use behr paint always but very disappointed in the stain. Something that should have cost around $500 cost me $1800. So not impressed
