Grabbed my Purdy brush to test the Jet White Satin Paint on a DIY Children's Alpine Playhouse. It's over ten years old. Tearing it down is on a list of my to-do's. If a fresh coat of paint can extend the life of our playhouse, I can cross that off this year's list. The house front was washed. It only took a few minutes to paint the house and door centers with this thick Jet White paint. The door and window trim was painted with Jet White Semi Gloss. The Floral wood panel on the door is from an architecture graveyard. It was cracked. The Satin covered the cracks in one coat, although it was already white. Having only viewed the paint color chip, I thought it would be less white. It matched the trim color on our house, that's vanilla white. Coverage was sufficient to cover cracks in aged wood. It was searing, I was dehydrated, got lightheaded amd dropped some paint on the walkway. It dries very fast. I don't consider it an easy clean up paint because of that. I won't paint our house this time of the year because of daily afternoon rains. This dries fast enough for short projects like the playhouse. It will take a year for me to see if this lives up to the advanced fade performance claim. I'm looking forward to using it on the house when daily rains let up!

Marquee is good, but, It is on the runny side and is priced a little to high.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using Behr paint for years and withdrawal use anything else I recommend or to everyone I know. I painted a front door bkack a few years ago for a customer, who was skeptical and worried about fading since it faced east and was behind a glass storm door. I've checked back with him several times and sobe by and looked at it and it looks as good as the day I painted it. I maintained 98 homes in Las Vegas where it's windy, dusty and gets dirty and used notion but Behr Marquee dirty paint for 5 years. Every home probably 30 of the homes that were repainted looked as great as the day they were painted and didn't seem to ever look dirty or dusty. Marquee exterior paint is also great because it can be used at 37 degrees unlike most paints that need to be atleast 50's. It covers great and can lady for up to 30 years week worth the investment.

This paint covered with about 30% less paint than expected. The painters rinsed their equipment off in my grass and it killed the grass. Other brands have not killed the grass in similar situations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Durable paint, covers most of the surface with one stroke, excellent quality very durable. Living in a Tropical Island good paint is a must due to weather conditions. Have had my house for 25 years and this is the only brand I purchase.

I'm painting my entire exterior house. I bought 1 5 gal of sherwin williams and 2 5 gal of Behr Marquee. I was leary of the Behr product, but after using both paints I can say that they are both excellent quality. The Sherwin Williams was a tad more expensive but I recommend Behr.

It brushes out really smooth and dries very hard. I dont have a job where I have used it 7 to 10 years ago. So I will have to review it later on that.

Yes it's expensive, but very durable paint. I haven't tried thinning and spraying it yet, but I expect no problem doing that. It is very thick paint and the dark brown completely covers the light brown primer on my smart facia trim in two coats. Make sure to snap a pic of the label the paint department puts on the lid before it gets paint on it, so you get an exact match next time.

So far I've painted 2 sides of my house with a 3 inch brush. It has nice durability , looks good and covers well. Its also holding up well to the hot sun.

It takes two coats. That is just to cover white over white.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So a few years ago we bought Cracked Pepper interior paint for an accent wall after a full interior remodel. Fast forward to 2024 when we were ready to paint the whole exterior of our house we again chose Behr Marquee satin exterior paint in Cracked Pepper. To our surprise Cracked Pepper is Behr's 2024 color of the year as well!!!! We have had nothing but complements on the house since starting the paint job. The paint covered up a not so pleasant tan color in just one coat. I would absolutely not hesitate to use more Behr products on my house.
