This paint will almost cover in one coat, with a slower dry time than behr ultra.

Very good paint for the money. Used it to paint newly finished basement, performs great on new, primed drywall. Had it tinted to a light tan and put on two coats - result is flawless. I used leftover material (primer + i300 paint) to paint over a previously painted wall. This wall was a medium brown. Painted one coat of primer and one coat of i300 - it covered perfectly, no visible difference to the adjacent new drywall with two coats of i300 on it. To some of the negatives reviews here ... perhaps it's your painting technique? If you're painting two coats of primer plus multiple top coats and you still see the old paint shine through - YOU are doing something wrong. It's not the product that's at fault ... maybe you should hire a pro.

This paint is of poor quality and the manufacture knows of it and is will to give a refund. However that won't admit it and say they never heard of the problem before. Its is not worth the lost time I spent putting coat after coat on over Antique White. Don't buy it til they fix the problem. I have used other Behr products and never had this issue.

This is the first time we have used this paint. The neutral color we used covered darker colors very good for a cheap paint. It still will take two coats but most do even the most expensive paints out there to look really good. We painted over 5 or six colors and it did well for a first coat. We are waiting on floors to be finished before we put the second coat on. We will use this again on rental and homes that the owner is selling. Why use expensive paint on a home for sale. Most will repaint it anyhow.

Coverage was average . Low odor . Dries fast . Was only painting a closet so I went with the low price option .

I am a pro painter and have been using this type of paint for may of my projects, I did not have any issues whatsoever. Those who complain about the coverage should consider that, the coverage depends on several factors like what is the current color and what is the new color, the surface preparation, and last but not least the method and skills of the users. The quality of your brush and the nap size of your roller can also play an important role in the quality of the finish and the amount of hiding capacity.

I was in need of placing an online order and Lana was extremely helpful, friendly and very willing to help. She offered to assist after the pro counter was closed. I trully commend her for her costumer service skills and being so nice over the phone. I requested to be transferred to the paint department and Joanne was also great. This paint has the worst coverage. It is very thick so I thought it would cover well. My handyman told me it is for spraying on walls mostly for rentals, apartments and the like. If there are any stains, this does not cover. Coat after coat I applied to some areas. Finally, I added a primer first and then went back in to finish the job. I invested way more time than I should have but was afraid the color wouldn’t match if I switched formulas half way into my project. But the more expensive paint and save yourselves time and money! Also, I ordered online to pick up at the store and the second time they gave me I tinted paint. I started driving away and then stopped to check the paint color. Thank goodness I did that. I went back in and Customer Service said I had to go to the paint department. I was not happy at those point. They blamed the “new guy” for the mix up.
