I owned the previous version of this as well. I like the locks on the attachments better on the older version. This can be hard to switch between blower and vacuum due to the release button being more complicated...which means someone probably injured themself using the previous version so it is certainly childproof now. The bag is slightly bigger and better on this version. I do suggest getting the extended warranty.

Glad I purchased. Makes yard work so much easier and more pleasant. It does take a bit longer to do piles of leaves but worth the extra time.

I purchased this to clean up leaves that drop from a tree into a garden that has some delicate plants. It did a great job! Then I went to the big job right under the tree and it worked great there too. The bag attachment holds just enough so I don't have to keep stopping to empty it. I highly recommend it.

This machine has not lasted beyond the one year let alone two years and 30 days that the warranty states???

Used this twice to pick up leaves and the hose broke off. Black and Decker has become disposable tool brand.

Product was great but it was a gift and person felt it was too heavy and too many functions so I had to return it and get something simpler. Not a product or brand issue but consumer issue.

Backpack leaf blower worked fantastically well as both a vacuum and blower. It abled me to finally clear out mulch beds filled with leaves. Works great on wet leaves as well as dry, just remove clogs as you go along. Great job by Black & Decker!

I bought this one over others for the price and also thinking it was a good product but NO the bag zipper failed after 3 or 4 times using it. Hmmm I tried to see if customer service would help under warranty and was told that the accessories are not covered. If this is an accessory why can’t I buy a replacement? Better to spend a little more money and buy a better quality product. I’m not happy with this product.

I had an old Black and Decker leaf hog for years. It just gave out. I bought this blower which is similar and it is great. It has more power than the old one. I have not used the vacuum yet. This blower does the work in less time. I would buy another one in a heart beat.

The vacuum works well. However, the catcher designed to go on your back but if you put it on your back you will get full of dust. There's room for improvement on the catcher. It works best if you drag it on the ground at this point.

I bought this in hopes of making the daunting task of sycamore and oak leaf raking easier. The suction power on it is not great and requires a light touch over the leaves. An hour into using the machine for the first time, it stopped working completely. I ensured there were no clogs, that the power outlet and connection was still working. I thought maybe it was overheated so I gave in 15 minutes to rest. Still nothing when turning on the power. DON’T BUY. I will be returning it asap.

Easy to assemble, seemed to work OK, but it gave me an electrical shock. I don't understand how, but I am returning it. One shock is too many..

Having the collection bag on the back is a very good change. I’ve only used it twice, but I’ve been very pleased and I hope it will last as well as its predecessor. A good product and well designed.

The vac/shredder had the best improved design of any product I can remember recently! Great product now.
