Great tool and/or accessory bag! Very thick and strong material and it is well made. Zippers open/close fairly easily and are good quality. Inside is large enough for average sized drills or hammers, etc, and also has 8 flexible pouches for items. The bag is rigid and does not collapse if it is empty. Side pouches are durable and can be used for anything you want to carry - screw drivers, small wrenches, etc.. As mentioned, the material is fairly thick, so you won't need to be concerned about the top of a screw driver or a sharp tool poking through. The top handle is comfortable which makes it easy to carry. Also, there is a convenient zippered compartment on the bottom portion of the bag that includes a nut/bolt organizer tray. This bag is perfect for us OCD folks that want to keep things neat and organized.

This Ideal 16 inch Wide-mouth Tool Storage Bag with Integrated Parts Bin Compartment is well-made and quite heavy duty. It has 8 internal tool pockets and 7 external, one of which is a double-size pocket with a velcro flap that closes it. The bottom of the main compartment is solid and sits above another zippered compartment that holds the clear plastic parts organizer. Another nifty feature is the inside tool pockets are banded by elastic straps that can hold additional tools and the wide mouth feature makes everything inside easily accessible. I didn't even notice this extra compartment at first because it's so close to the bottom of the tool bag. I kept hearing something sliding back and forth whenever I tipped the tool bag from side to side, but I just thought it was part of the bag's base. My only disappointment with the parts organizer is that it's only about half the size of the bottom compartment when it could have been much larger to accomodate more small parts. So far, I haven't decided exactly how to use this new tool bag. At first I thought I'd use it to store several new Ryobi power tools I'd recently bought from Home Depot, but I don't need the parts organizer for them. Now I'm thinking it may be a good replacement for my Husky electrician's tool bag which is getting too full and overflowing its capacity. This new Ideal tool bag is about twice the size of my Husky electrician's bag and I do keep small wire connectors and orher small parts in a separate parts organizer within that tool bag. Regardless of how I ultimately use this bag, it's a beauty that I can gladly recommend to others.

I loaded all kinds of stuff inside: large bottle of wood glue, caulk tube, spray paint, spray lube, pliers, nut drivers, screwdrivers, everything I could think of to give you an idea of its versatility. The elastic bands easily accommodate a can that is 2.75” in diameter. It’ll fit a tube of caulk that is 9.5” tall (tip side down as the top is so thin) and still close but it won’t close if you have a can that is 8.5” tall. It’ll close with cans that are less than 8” tall. Speaking of versatility, I think this isn’t just a bag useful for the construction industry. My friends who are into painting crafts and jewelry making could put this bag to good use. It needs tension on the zipper to zip/unzip but the nylon zipper will move smoothly and easily once you have sufficient tension on it. It has two zippers, each with a round loop on the end that can be pushed together so you can lock the case (see photo). You’ll need a very small shank lock (3/16” inch) to lock it. I used one of the TSA approved locks and it worked perfectly. It has a compartment underneath (6” deep, 14.5” wide and 2” high) that is crush-proof so if you choose not to use the included hinged parts container, you can put anything in there that will fit and not worry about it (I’m thinking my sandwich…). The compartment at the bottom is clearly labeled for the container. The container has 2 clasps which snap easily into place and just as easily unlatch. The container comes with 12 tabs that you can detach and slip into place so you could have a total of 18 separate compartments. The parts container has three rows that are 9.25” long and 1.75” wide and 1 and 5/8” deep and one row that is 9.25” long and 1” wide. You can use the included tabs to size the rows into increments of 1.75” segments. The row that is 1” wide is the one opposite the hinges and those compartments are set at two at 2.75” long (on either side) and the middle one is 3.75´long and is 1” deep. On the outside, you have 4 pockets on one side (the side that the container compartments opens on), 5.5” deep. They are more narrow at the bottom and expand outward at the top about 1”. There are 3 double pockets on the other side. They are 7” deep and the ones in front are 5.25” deep. The outside pockets are on the long sides, there are no pockets on the short sides. On the inside, there are 4 pockets on each (of the long) sides and each pocket has an elastic band in front of it. I was able to wedge a large bottle of wood glue into a pocket and then a can of spray lube into the strap on the front of that same pocket. There are no inside pockets on the short sides. The handles are padded and smooth and do not dig into your skin.

The 15” Large Mouth Tool Bag has lots of room for my tools. This bag will be kept in the truck with other needed tools and equipment. It is of a heavy canvas material with large nylon zippers, has many separated compartments for tools inside and outside as well. It has a strong flat bottom inside, and I did not notice it when I got it that it also had a parts container under the bottom of the bag, great for little items you may need while on the road.

This is a good size and well made tool bag. I like the size and how it has this bottom separate parts bin compartment at the very bottom of the bag. It comes with a plastic parts storage box that helps you store all those small parts, screws, bolts etc that you may want to carry. The parts storage bin box also can be slotted for various sizes to your needs. It has a separate double zippers so you can get at it without going thru the main wide mouth opening. I like that convenience and feature. So that takes a bit of the depth of the bag with this full bottom parts storage compartment, Thus the wide mouth main compartment is not as deep, but that is okay, Cause it has all these interior pockets and straps on both sides and with the shorter depth, you don't have to dig in deep to pull something out. The main double zipper is also lockable with lock loops. See pic. It has D rights on opposite sides of the bag for a shoulder strao but it doesn't come with one. That would be nice to have one included but not necessary to use the tool bag. The construction and material is heavy duty, so I don't see this breaking or failing any time soon It is durable and comparable to other bags. Overall I like this bag to carry my everyday needed tools that I would reach for in any repair. Complement this with a rolling tool chest and you are good to go anywhere.

This tool bag is quite heavy, and has very nice quality fabric and stitching. But there are drawbacks which prevent me from using it as intended. The "parts bin" is tucked under the rest of the bag, accessed by a zipper on 3 sides of the bag. The bin is nothing more than a cheap flat plastic box with plastic hinges, plastic latches, and adjustable plastic dividers. It must be completely removed from its compartment in order to use. When the bag is laden with heavy tools, the parts bin is difficult to remove, and nearly impossible to replace without tipping the bag up on one side, spilling some of the tools. I decided to store my angle grinder in the bag after removing the parts bin for use elsewhere. My application has little need for all the pockets inside and out. The bag includes D-rings for attaching a shoulder strap but does not include the strap.

The bag stands rigid when opened so that there is easy access to all the compartments. I use this type of bag to put standard tools and their pieces in one place so they will be there when I NEED THEM, AND NOT EASILY GET LOST. Bag has a drawer for small tool parts under the bottom of the bag. I used that space to store a knee cushion always wanted when working. I took a 4" grinder with all its subcomponents and easily fit it into the bag. Also added feature is when you are a DIYer and don't often use the tools, you can easily fold the user guide into one of the pouches.

I really like this bag. I already have a larger one from a different company and don’t get me wrong, I love it too, but there is something to be said for this compact size. While I love having everything all in place, I could never tote around a bag big enough to hold everything. This bag is perfect for a small plier set a battery operated drill, bits, a hammer, and a set of screwdrivers. It’s my new go to bag!

Just received a multi-use bag with the brand name, "Bootstrapt". It would work well as a tool bag but could also be used for other purposes. In addition to the carry handles, a removable shoulder strap is included. Outside are seven pockets, one of which includes a flap with hook & loop fasteners. A heavy duty zipper provides access to the main compartment which includes 8 pockets along the sides. A second compartment beneath the main one is accessed from the front near the bottom via a zipper. This area is labeled, "Parts Bin Compartment" and also includes a hard plastic box with adjustable dividers. This bag is quite sturdy and well made.

Nice, sturdy bag. I have a couple of these types of bags & I like this one because the side do not collapse easily. I put test instruments & a radio transmitter in it; I'm confident it won't damage these items. It has plenty of pockets for tools & a compartment underneath, which includes a plastic storage container (see the attached picture). I didn't realize this was included when I ordered it.

This "Bootstrapt" 16 inch Large Mouth Tool Bag with an integrated parts bin compartment is as handy as "Two pockets on a shirt" ( you might need to be in my age group to remember this saying) it is very heavy duty and the only one I have that has a separate compartment in the bottom with a removable parts box for those little screws or whatever? that always are hard to find in the big tool compartment.

A clever upgrade to a high quality gatemouth tool bag. The upgrade? A storage shelf with plastic parts storage at the bottom (see pix). Great for specialists like picture hanging or an exceptional home handyman's bag. The bag is super sturdy with a great carrying strap (well padded). Big enough for a good selection of tools including the obligatory battery powered drill. The bits boxes on a separate bottom shelf is brilliant.

When my son went off to college seven years ago I bought him a basic multi-piece tool kit to have while he lived in a dorm and eventually a house. Now that he is on his own I have been slowly building a “real” set of tools for him to use in his own house. But it occurred to me that he didn’t have a good tool bag for them so I decided to get him a good bag to hold what I have given him and allow for future additions down the road. This wide mouth tool bag is perfect. Holds a lot of tools. And the side slots are useful for tape measures and extras like flashlights and electric tape. The bonus bottom compartment and container to hold small parts is a great bonus. Very sturdy material should last him a long time.

Very large tool bag with a surprise! It comes with a compartment that has a container that holds miscellaneous small items. I've never seen a tool bag like this one. Now it does have several pouches to put your basic hand tools as well as a place to put a name tag on the side. Although this is a large bag, the number of pouches isn't overkill so as to make this pouch over weight. This is perfect for a spare tool bag for the vehicle.

There is a lot to like about this bag. Durable material and high quality hardware to offer years of of service. This includes a high quality zipper, riveted seams, etc. Pockets line the interior to hold tools in place. There are a couple things that I am curious about this this item. The first of which is the loose parts compartment, which is handy (and didn't even know about when I ordered it.) Yet, it includes a bit box that doesn't run the span of the bag. So there is a pocket for anything else you may want to stuff in there but Im I don't want to compete with anything else in that pocket when trying to get the bit box back into the bag at the end of the day. I also didn't get a shoulder strap. There are eyelets for what I have to assume are for shoulder straps to clip on. I guess I need to get my own? The feet on the bottom are nice but they are not rubber. Rubber would be far superior for storage in the back of a truck bed (or a trunk,) or to simply keep the bag in place. For these reasons (and for the price point) I would consider this bag just fine for an entry level home owner/apartment renter, but not for anyone looking for more performance and certainly someone going to and from job sites.

Wide mouth tool bag with a parts bin underneath Made by Bootstrapt. This is perfect for the electrician or even plumbing. What's nice about this bag for the contractor, is the raised base. There are plastic blocks that keep it off the surface. Especially on a wet ground or floor. This will keep the bag from rotting due to wet conditions. Very sturdily built for a fair amount of tools. It has pockets in the back for screw drivers, pliers or wrench.

Never enough tool bags, right? I've only used it for about a week, but this is going to be my main toolbag for around the house. I particularly like the parts organizer. It has it's own little zippered home in the bottom of the tool bag. My last tool box had an organizer on the top of the box with separate latches. I can't tell you how many times I forgot to latch it and my screws, washers ... went flying. This organizer completely solves that problem. The bag opens wide, so access is easy. Plenty of pockets both inside and outside. I still haven't figured out how to organize my tools yet, but this bag gives you a plethora of options. I like the feet on the bottom of the bag. Cons are few, so far. I wish the handles had one of those velcroed flaps to hold the handles together. Also, the parts bin in the bottom is bit tought to get out when the bag is full, you have to tip it a little bit to take the weight off. I would definitely recommend this bag.
