I got this because I got tired of our white plastic paper towel dispenser. Every time I'd rip off a sheet the roll would fall off. It just didn't hold well. This one is pretty simple to install and use. Just locate where you want it to go and mark where the holes should be. It just takes 2 screws (supplied) to install. It also comes with a cap for the screws, but I opted to not use the supplied screws as they were a bit long and came through the bottom of the cabinet. I used 1/2" screws instead and they worked fine. It was a bit clumsy to actually screw them in, as the towel bar is directly in the way of where the screws are. I thought it would be better if they made it so the towel bar can be unscrewed until the mounting bracket was installed, but even at an angle I was still able to get them in tight enough. I put the closed end on the left as we normally rip off the paper towels from right to left. It still works ripping the other way too, but there's no chance of it coming off the towel holder if it's on the side where you rip towards. It has a nice elegant matt black finish and is made of aluminum, so it will never rust.
