The bamboo range from less than an inch thick to an inch thick instead of all being an inch thick. Also, I am missing one. I only received 24 bamboo poles.

Exactly what I hoped they would look like. Good quality.

I bought these last year and put them in an outdoor fence. I was happy with the product as it came, but a year later, they all split. I called Backyard Escapes and they told me that this type of bamboo would split. They suggested another product they had called "solid bamboo." I needed to replace what I had, so I purchased the "solid bamboo" from them. It is solid in some places and has very thick walls in others. It doesn't look like it will split. I put two coats of Behr clear waterproofing on it. I don't think I will have to replace the bamboo next year.

I'm using these as tomato stakes. They are perfect for the job. The bluebirds like them too!

Product delivered was as described. It perfectly accented our previously installed backyard bamboo fencing behind our fountain, and the larger diameter canes were just right to set off the smaller ones. We stained these larger diameter ones darker so they would frame the entire arrangement. Looks great!

These worked great for my "re purpose the empty nester swing set into a TIKI BAR!" project. -I was please to see the poles had been straightened and were very well packaged.

As I saw in other reviews, some of the bamboo poles arrived in poor condition. 5 out of the 25 were split down the entire length when they arrived, held together just at the knots in the bamboo. I am using these as tomato trellises this year and we will see how they hold up. I suspect they will survive the entire season just fine, but I won't count on reusing them next year. Another 8 or so had some splits along their length, but again, the knots seemed solid. The remaining 12 were in great shape with no splits. As far as pole diameter, they mainly fall in the 3/4"-1" range, which is perfect for tomato trellising, but not the 1" diameter advertised. I would have preferred purchasing these bamboo poles in-store so I could select for poles in good shape, but given that this was the only bamboo pole product I could find and it was unavailable in-store near me, I am glad I found them.

I made 2 orders of this product in the last month one here. This order had more cracks in the canes. not a huge number but more otherwise they were exactly what I needed. I cut them in half all were 48 inches or a tiny bit longer. All original Canes were at least 8 feet some maybe an inch longer. Diameters varied from .8 inch to 1.4 inch with most closer to the 1 inch mark with small natural tapper. Most were straight with a little natural variation. I an very happy how the look in my tea house wall/

Very nice bamboo poles..sizing was great..a couple of tapered poles down to 3/4" on one end...but this is the natural growth of this type of bamboo. Have to mention some were 1-1/4 on the ends also....overall all the poles were solid with no cracks..the poles were wrapped in a white woven cloth with card board padding on each end...delivery took about 10 days from the west coast..I live on Maine. Very please with this supplier and will buy more from Home Depot!!

I was worried about excessive tapering off of the ends, but I haven't found any so far and I've been through about half of them. Currently using them to build a structure over my blueberry bushes, with which I will cover in bird netting to keep the pests out. Really looking forward to continuing use with these.

I ordered this bundle on line.. Came in large bundle, no damage... This is an amazing value. I used my bamboo posts to make a chicken fence around my garden. It was easy just to weave the chicken wire down around the posts. I sawed the edges off in miterd manner in order to have them firmly stick in the ground... I gave my brother several, and he added them along his fence line and then stuck solar lights in the top of the bamboo, which i did as well... So many uses outdoors for these poles.. organic and handsome, fit into any landscape! Also made a teepee for my cucumbers to climb.

Unlike lighter weight bamboo poles, often called stakes, these poles are a full inch in diameter from end to end, not tapering to worthless flexibility. I last them together with twine to make tripods which hold hummingbird feeders. During the summer, using 4 1-pint feeders, I go through 1 gallon of nectar per day (it's a large colony I've accidentally managed to cultivate). I can't say the hummingbirds prefer bamboo poles, but the poles blend with the garden so naturally that my wife and I prefer the bamboo to metal or plastic-coated equivalents, as do the many guests who sit on our patio marveling at so many hummingbirds lapping up so much sugar water. The pole color is also accurate and presents with an aesthetic honesty that green-painted stakes can't duplica\ ]]]]]]] ]]]]]]

The quality of the product was much better than I expected. Color was perfect. I will do another project in the spring with this product. I installed a bamboo ceiling in my bar and used the black bamboo as ceiling and base trim

The Bamboo was in good shape when picked up. Only a couple had splits yet even those were strong and usable since they were cut to make short stakes to allow the plants to start climbing. Once the trellis was complete if feels strong and looks good too.

I've looked all over Portland to find bamboo for our garden! Some stores were charging $3-4 a piece! These bamboo poles are high quality and a total bargain.

We used these to cover posts on a new deck see the photo attached.

I am always nervous buying stuff sight unseen, but this was exactly as described and perfect for building a trellis for my garden. It has held up very well in the weather and looks attractive too.

I bought this to make a wedding arch for my sons wedding. All the poles were usable and it was real easy to order online and pick up at the store. Great price too!

I needed something economical and durable to support my black raspberry bushes. The uprights drove in easily with a steel post driver , the cross pieces were tied on with nylon sash cord. Very sturdy should last a long time.

I used my bamboo for some DIY projects. Easy to cut with a saw. Very sturdy and strong! I tried to snap it by stepping on it and we couldn't slip it into two! the bamboo bent instead. The bamboo are not uniform in thickness. They range from 1-1.5 inch in diameter. The problem I had with this order was that some of the bamboo poles were defective (already cracking and seemed to be broken, approx 2/25).

I purchased these 6' x 1" bamboo poles to build trellises for my organic garden, as well as a frame for bird netting over my potted veggies. I did use a water stain to protect them. They were all in very good condition when I received them. No splinters or breaks. At first I wasn't sure they would hold up, but after over a month of torrential downpours and then days of 90 plus degree heat and humidity on end, these poles have stood up strong. I highly recommend these poles for multiple purposes.

I searched online for bamboo poles to build a bean trellis for my garden. Most bamboo poles I found were too flimsy and wouldn't hold up to the wind and rain of Boston. These poles are very sturdy, and it was easy to cut one end at an angle so I could hammer them into the ground.

I bought these poles for a series of trellises. Picked up at the store. They are light and easy to carry. Unwrapped at home and only one had a crack, the rest were in good condition. There is some slight variation in the diameter of the poles, but wasn't an issue for me. Used 16.5 gauge tie wire to secure the poles together. Very easy to work with. Sturdy and durable. Just wish I could get them at a cheaper price, but you get what you pay for, so I'm hoping these last a while.

The poles are very good cut, the diameter is indeed 1in and they are very strong and straight. Hope the price can be a little cheaper but this is the best I can find.

We love these poles for our teepee making! I do wish they would skip sending the split ones, but what can you do?
