It is a very small amount of oxygen that does not last for very long. This is not the fault of the cylinder. They're filled as much as possible. The HD price is very good, sometimes much less than on-line sources.

I bought this to use with acetylene

These are a waste, I bought four bottles after the one that came in the kit. All four were empty upon purchase. Zero pressure, easy to bump the valve to verify. Contacted bernzomatic, customer service rep told me to return them to the store. I contacted the stores and was told in no uncertain terms that no returns were allowed on bottles. Makes sense, how do you know if some used the gas...but you also can't check in store. Sooo, garbage 150$ down the drain. Brazing kit plus 4 bottles @ 12ish$, and the brazing kit is worthless without O2.

These are prefect for those of you who like using 4-5 oxygen tanks per one propane tank! They hold a STUNNING 1.4oz of gas!!! How did they even get it all in there?! Oh I almost forgot, they are really expensive too! Great product would recommend highly 10/10

Had to buy 5 tanks to finish one small job..Bernzomatic torch is junk.

After purchasing one bottle I thought I had gotten a bad bottle as it lasted less than 5 minutes on a mapp gas torch turned as low as I could get it. I purchased two more to complete a gold melting project and ran thru then other two just as quickly. This is a waste of money if you need more than a few minutes of torch time.

As my title says, I bought a tank of this and it only lasted long enough to braze 4 consecutive joints on a small piece of jewelry. Outrageous for $10-$20 these tanks are being sold for. Even more so if one considers the price of a regulator that one would need to already have to make use of disposable tanks. If you’re reading this and haven’t bought a regulator for disposable tanks yet, don’t. Buy a porta torch. It has regulators and tanks for slightly more than a regulator and a 20# oxygen tank, plus you get a torch, acetylene tank and gauges. This is only good in a pinch if you already have a disposable tank regulator. Even then it leaves less than a desirable taste in the mouth. $80 for the regulator, plus $10 for 3 minutes of use. Signed, a journeyman plumber/ HVAC tech. (Someone that uses torches daily, for hours at a time.)

Is a great product it works every time only use it for minor things i would like to in the future work some more thing with that kind of work

Well, it's an O2 tank. most hardware stores have them. H/D had them as well. I was there about other items, so I got the tank. simple.

Good for small jobs. I use these to solder copper in my stained glass projects. I recommend this for small jobs it could be used for jewelers also.

The threads were stripped.

This product provides an excellent way to do small scale oxy/propane welding/brazing.

I buy this product almost once a month. Always glad to pop into the store and get it quick. Somtimes it is out of stock but that is understandable.

If its a 20 min project max, go for it. The price though is insane. Should cost at most $6. If you don't have a regulator you'll be constantly having to adjust the valve to keep the flame ideal for your needs. Only buy this if its a one time project and less than 20 minutes. Plus side, you'll have plenty of mapp gas left over. My best estimate, one cylinder of mapp will last 5 cans of O².

I use these for oxygenating wort for home brewing. Really wish they could redesign the bottle to hold higher pressure/ more oxygen. There really isn't much in these bottles. To use them for anything else is not worth it. You're better off going to Airgas or similar to get a high pressure oxygen cylinder. It's on my long term brewing plan. To make it worse, HD won't take the empties. So I end up stock piling 4 or 5 until I get a chance to properly dispose of them at the hazardous waste section of the dump.

Bottle size is good for many usages connected to my stainless steel areation stone for a 2 minute insertion of oxygen into my beer wort

runs out fast

These canisters of oxygen have very little pressure and run out quickly. I bought one can of MAP gas 5 cans of oxygen. All 5 cans of oxygen ran out and there is still lots of MAP gas.These oxygen cans are a waste of money.
