I had to wait but it was worth it. I love the extra rack and the adjustable rack. My dishes are clean. Its quiet and efficent. I added a sign so hubby knows when dishes are dirty or clean

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced a 12-year old Bosch with this model. It took us a week to figure out how to get the machine to accept the recommended Finish detergent tablet. It kept getting hung up in the upper tray outside of the intended tray, where the rotating sprayer missed it so it wouldn't even dissolve in a run. Finally we determined if we inserted it vertically in the dispenser tray rather than horizontally as shown in the operating manual, it would fall in properly.

It's very easy to use and intuitive The third rack is my favorite as we have lots of small dishes and utensils that used to be hard to fit in or required buying extra baskets. This has been completely streamlined. With the rinsing agent dishes get almost entirely dry every time. The bottom and middle rack have a LOT of space for all types and sizes of dishes. The front is sleek and the finish hides the many fingerprints from our kids. So glad we went with a Bosch!

When i take the pot and pans and dishes out of the dish washer they look like they are new. And the room inside the washer is amazing. I am very happy with it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] after dealing with a Whirlpool dishwasher, 7 repairs through Lowe's extended warranty plan, and it's still leaking water, we decided on a Bosch. Best decision we ever made. I love the silverware tray, the baskets are versatile to fit any dishes, and surprisingly I tested it with a casserole dish that I didn't even pre wash and it got it sparkling clean. I would definitely recommend a Bosch to anyone looking to replace a dishwasher.

That additional space makes it a challenge to get the middle rack just right. Too high and my 20 ounce stainless cups have to go on the bottom rack. Too low and the sprayer hits my plates. I love the silverware rack...but what I wouldn’t give for an extra inch of interior space.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our new dishwasher. It’s unbelievably quiet and my dishes are sparkling. Also love the third rack for utinsils. It’s a little time consuming up front to load but well worth the extra effort to grab the clean forks knifes and spoons for easy fast unload. I group like items together and just a quick grab and their in the drawer. Plenty of room for plates etc on the lower rack. Designed for easy load and unload of plates and glasses.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher has worked great. I installed it myself in about 30 mins. All of the parts needed for the installation came with the dishwasher. I also ordered a drain extension to reach my drain that came with all parts needed. The dishwasher works great and is extremely quiet. The best is that there is no need to scrape excess food off of the plates.

Super light, easy to install (buy the install kit). The dishwasher itself is great, not perfect, but great. The dishes get clean (as they should with any brand new dishwasher) but the drying cycle lacks a little. I'm satisfied with the purchase though. 4.5 stars

I assumed the brand Would speak for itself. However it came with factory settings I had to read the manual multiple times to figure out how to set it for heat. I should have researched before I purchased not sure what a hybrid is either. I Purchased online and would have rather seen it in person. Lesson learned.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought our Bosch dishwasher a few months ago and just installed it after a kitchen renovation. It is the quietist dishwasher It has a laser that shows on the floor to let you know it's running. Would highly recommend this unit for the name and quality. I'm a retired Firefighter and we started using Bosch back in early 2000 they run at least 3 to 4 times a day 365 days a year. This is why I bought mine.

Emits a horrible smell, does not wash and dry dishes properly, leaves water condensation all over the walls after using extra dry feature, cheap plastic bottom which I am not sure is even healthy. This is my second Bosch dishwasher and my first one I loved. I am shocked Bosch can even put it’s name on this. Also it makes you start it up all over again if you leave the door open a few seconds too long. I am scared I will get mold!

I really like the silverware drawer; it leaves more room for plates and bowls and such in the other two drawers. We didn't even know that Bosch made dishwashers; we really like this one!

This is a beautiful dishwasher. The stainless steel exterior is smooth, modern looking and seems to be fingerprint resistant. Bosch has always been known for quality and I'm happy to say it still is. The machine itself is so quiet you'll be wondering if it is running. You'll know because when it is running there is a small red light reflected on the floor. When the light goes out the cycle is finished. It has quite a few cycles from wash to sanitize. It did take a little extra time to install because I needed a cutoff valve installed on the water line. The old machine didn't have one. Times change. You will need a power cord and installation hose kit. I threw my old ones out with the old dishwasher. My wife loves this new machine and that makes me very happy. I would definitely recommend this unit.

This replaced our 14 year old dishwasher. Very stylish. The first time we ran it we checked to see if it was working several times. It is so quiet you have to listen closely to hear it. It has a small red light that shines on the floor to let you know it is running. Cleans very well and drys completely. I like that it has a third tray which holds larger cooking utensils. If you are looking for a quality D/W, this one is for you. The only disappointment is the silverware basket is very small. Wish I would have saved the basket from my old d/w to use.

This review is for the Bosch SHXM4AY55N tall tub 100 Series Dishwasher with InfoLight and RackMatic Upper Rack - Stainless Steel. Stainless hybrid stainless interior. I am always looking for extra value that I can use to remodel and upgrade a kitchen for a decent price. I prefer stainless because they will keep their good looks for a very long time, without a lot maintenance. This is a good looking unit. It is also a well made unit with some innovative features that can allow you to load more dishes. More on that latter. It does a superior cleaning the dishes. It has an auto sensor for Wash Temperature. A short cycle option, and an extra dry option. In fact it has most of the options except WIFI that you might find on units costing 33% more. It did a good job on our dishes which sometimes have been in there for 3 days before turning it on. The installation instructions are complete and easy to follow even if you have never done this type of thing before. Please note the tall tub till fits into the normal opening provided for most dishwashers in North America. Height: 33 7/8 Width: 23 9/16 Depth: 22 9/16 We entertain a fair bit and a dishwasher that holds an extra30% would be a blessing. So I got a load of run of the mill type dishes my family would use in the old dishwasher and loading them into the Bosch. See pictures. We have various sizes of dinner plates. A 10” dinner plate would have just barely allowed the middle spray arm to rotate. The 11” plate as shown in the pictures even with all the trays in the highest position would not allow the spray arm to rotate. I had to remove the 3rd tray in order to fit the test load from the old dishwasher to the Bosch tall tub in order to get the same amount of dishes in. Can this dishwasher hold 30% more dishes? Only if they are small dishes. I will be using it for the most part with- out the 3rd tray as we use a combination of large and small sizes of dishes and cups. The 3rd rack will be in use only for parties. This Bosch dishwasher does a superior cleaning job but the Tall tub feature is not handy.

Ordered this dishwasher, delivery took a couple days. Dishwasher arrives and upon unboxing is missing all installation accessories. I call Home Depot, and they direct me to a dedicated support line at Bosch (800-554-9560). Bosch rep says that they can't help me and refers me to a different call center (800-944-2904). I finally get confirmation that the parts needed are on order but may take a week. My kitchen is torn apart waiting for missing parts to show.

Best machine I've ever had I love it

It is a bit smaller than a normal dishwasher but once you figure out your loading technique it is great. We find ourselves doing less rinsing and prewashing before loading this dishwasher as we find it does a fantastic job at getting off all debris and gunk from dishes. The drying cycle is incredible as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even the 100 series of dishwashers is better than the last 2 dishwashers I have owned, which were comparable in price. It is super easy to load and gets the fishes very clean. No heating element in the bottom of the compartment means I don't have to worry about melting plastic items. But it still gets my dishes just as dry as the prior ones I had.

This is the third Bosch dishwasher we've purchased and didn't realize we had a 100 series. The bottom rack doesn't slide easily and has to be lifted onto the door. We can hear the dishwasher run through the cycles. After having two other Bosch dishwashers that were wonderful, I'm disappointed
