Sanitize your dishes: The Sanitize feature is available only in the Heavy, Auto, Normal and Half Load cycles. Q:Our new Bosch washer (style with the towel bar) does not dry the dishes at all. Why not? Is there a dryer boost button? a longer cycle to select?

A: Hi Josh, thanks for your question. Your dishwasher is designed to dry using the PureDry® condensation drying system. This is an energy-efficient, closed-drying system that does not pull in outside air or use an exposed heating element. This process works by heating the dishes with hot water during the final rinse. The cooler stainless steel pulls moisture from the dishes. The inside of the unit will be wet at the end of the cycle, but the dishes should be dry. It's important to note that plastics don’t retain heat as well as other dishware materials and don’t dry as well. To improve drying results, we recommend turning on the Intensive Drying feature. Q:After cycle is done, my drain hose never empties and stays filled with water (air gap drainage). Washer tub is empty of water though. Is this normal for drain hose to not empty? Thanks.
