I can't really review the features/performance of the saw because I bought it for my husband for his birthday. He seems to really enjoy it though and it works well for him.

I've had this saw for a couple of months and it is well made and works great. I'm happy with this purchase.

My first electric saw. tree limbs, a board that stuck out of project...a leg on a table I did them all with this saw...Very happy with my new super powers! great product

I bought this tool as I was faced with the task of demolishing a large deck.  It sailed through without problems.  Blade consumption was significant but perhaps reasonable given the amount of cutting required to reduce deck to pieces acceptable to urban garbage collection.

I bought this saw on sale about 1 month ago. I don't use a recip. saw all that much but it does come in handy on the occasion. Nice feel, very smooth and powerful. Constructed well. Liked the LED feature when cutting in dark places. Carrying bag was a bonus. Keeps everything together. Slightly heavy but well worth the price.

I needed a new saw after my old one finally said goodbye. It is a daily used tool and I use it for everything short of finishing! The saw is capable, strong and feels solid for the reno work that I do.

Using in old barn cutting pipe out. Work like a charm with the right blade. It didn't get hot. The blades are important part I tried a non-Bosch blade and it just dulled real fast.

This is powerful saw really speeds up getting the job done thereby increasing productivity. I have used the Bosch RS7 mostly for demolition work and it has been up to the job every time. I have found it very easy to control the depths of my cuts so I don't damage anything that is not being removed. The LED light is really helpful when working indoors.The saw has plenty of power and cuts wood or metal easily. The blades are very easy to change and lock in securely as long as you make sure to fully seat them. The only very minor criticisms I have are that: It is a bit on the heavy side (most other makes are as well) and so I would not want to spend a lot of time work off a ladder with it. A quick release on the adjustable shoe would be very handy and make depth adjustment more efficient. A shorter stroke (it has the same stroke as most others on the market) would be convenient for working in tight corners.

Bosch continues its winning streak in my tool collection. Powerful, stable and well made, it is in fact so good that my wife has taken to pulling it out every weekend to work on the trees in our backyard. Sometimes I think she likes it even more than I do.

I Cut off Half a roof of a house with this saw. It has a big piston and the rafter hook has proven to be use full as well. Defiantly one of the best reciprocating saws out there of its amperage.

Bought this about a year ago and have used it many many times on various jobs. Although I can't compare it to other reciprocating saws, it is wonderful, the motor and action are smooth, changing blades is easy and the LED lamp is quite useful in those hard to see places like ceilings. Although the head doesn't rotate you can easily switch the blade around. Also built pretty tough. All in all, a great buy at a great price.

Purchased a month ago and haven't put it down since. I use it daily on my basement reno and in the yard for cutting and trimming the over grown trees. I especially like the L.E.D light, very effective for cutting in dimly lit areas.

Pros: Can hold up to daily professional use, handy Led light. Bought mainly because of the SAW HOOK. I go up and down on a ladder and need to hang this out of the way. Wish all reciprocating saws came with this feature. Lighter weight (but is it built as well?) Time will tell. Have been using Milwalkee and Bosch for many years. Like Makita brand for drills and screw guns. Cons: A tad less powerful than my old Bosch (which I just found out they are replacing the bushings) Yeah! Now I will have a back-up. My husband uses these too.

Super price for a great product. Its a Bosch need i say more, very powerful and gets the job done
