Easy installation. Works fine. The fan itself was one huge headache, but I survived.

This controller functions as advertised. It fit perfectly into a standard electric switch box and controlled the fan speed throughout his entire range smoothly and accurately. I have zero complaints. It appears to be a fine product.

Works great! Everything you need to install and hookup to the fan.

Junk. Worked fine with Broan bathroom ceiling fan for just over 7 months. When it was new, it functioned perfectly. Within about 4-5 months, it only wanted to work in the highest setting; anything lower than that wasn't enough juice to turn the fan at anything more than a hum. After using it with high-only for a couple more months, it will now not run the fan at any setting. Replaced it with a simple on-off switch, and the bathroom fan now works fine. I had expected a much longer life, especially for the price.

Has very bad humm. Bought 5, same issue on each. Returned and purchased dehummer switches.

controller worked as advertised. However, only about a quarter of a turn of the controller is useful. While the controller will slow the fan nicely, and to a very slow speed, the louvers that came with the fan remain closed and those slow speeds.

I bought this for use with the Broan model 508 270 CFM through-wall vent fan, and I am very pleased. I don't notice any humming, and it works exactly as I'd hoped.

It did not work as described! The problem is that on high fan setting, it works perfectly. Any other lower speed, it hums.

Will be replacing with a new one when put on high speed it runs very slow. It was working fine up until a few days ago.

Switch has hum when except when first turned on. As rheostat is increased, then the hum increases.

I thought this speed control would be quiet but it "hums" at slower speeds It does allow complete control of the fan motor speed

I purchased this fan speed control to vary the speed on a brushless fan motor, for amplifier cooling in an audio system. Unfortunately, as soon as the control starts to reduce speed, it induces a very audible hum in the fan, rendering it useless for the purpose for which I bought it, that is, to reduce speed so that it cannot be heard while listening, and still cool the amplifier.

This switch was easy to find online and order. They emailed and texted us as soon as they had it ready at the customer service desk.
